FLASH HOBBY D2826 Brushless Motor 930KV for RC Aircraft Plane Multi-Copter Brushless Outrunner Motor (930kv)

This motor is perfect for planes that weigh between 600 grams and 1kg. It has excellent bearings and the hardware is also very good.

Love these little screaming and affordable motors. I live in Salt Lake in about 5,000 ft above sea level. I use these motors to power 40" combat wings. With a 40 amp ESC, 3 cell lipo and a 7x6 prop they run about 80 miles an hour at top speed. It is the preferred motor on the combat field. I have hundreds of flights on mine. It's still going strong.

A great motor that can be put on many styles of planes. I use it on my Micro Slow Stick night flyer. I have to beef up the wings and fuselage with carbon fiber to handle the higher speeds, but the whole setup has worked great for me and other flyers I've built this plane for. Strongly recommend this motor. It used to be sold by Hobby King. Now Flash Hobby sells it.

I've purchased this same motor previously and that one worked flawlessly, but I ordered another recently and it had issues. It was draining my 3S 2200mah battery in just 4 minutes of moderate use and was getting very hot in the process. The earlier one easily runs 6+ minutes in the same plane and comes down barely warm with plenty of juice left in the battery. Maybe received one with a bad bearing or a bad winding? The good news is that Amazon processed a return/refund without any hassle.

Two motors burned up back to back. No issues with past ones. Maybe bad batch. But not happy with it this time.
