One reason that I generally don't use most of the Rust-Oleum paint line is because of the long tack time between coats and the overall dry time of the paint, some Rust-Oleum paints including some of their other primers takes hours and sometimes even days to fully dry. This is not the case with this 7582838 professional primer, this blend of primer goes on smooth with a consistent spray pattern and I found that I can wet sand or lightly dry sand within a 1/2 hour which in turn allows me to get my topcoats on much quicker! This is a durable primer that goes on nice and smooth, helps to stop rust, not watery so stays in place and dries quick... I highly recommend this one and I will buy it again!

Great primer…. Using this primer preparation of the surface ( brake calipers) is going to be best result by using a wire brush on a drill to clean the surface properly with brake cleaner and such …. Apply as desired with 15 minutes dry between each application . In my opinion the thicker it is the better of the outcome .. after applying about three or 4 coats of rust oleum red with 15 minutes dry time in between Application the outcome was remarkable … . Apply 2 to 3 coats of clear coat allow 15 minutes dry time in between .. simply beautiful results . Let it cure for 24 to 48 hours and you’ll have a beautiful job ✅ done. 2 years later and it’s still beautifully thick red with cleaning whenever you watch the car 🚗

Applies quickly, evenly, and seems to have good application from each angle. Fast dry time.

I always use rust oleum products, they seem to holdup well

Rustoleum is a great product. It sprays evenly from the can to leave a beautiful, smooth finish.
