great dog food! this brand is something that i switched my rescue to. I know that it was easy on her stomach and we used this for a while. The value for the money seems to be perfect. The digestibility and healthiness of this food is definitely something i recommend for people looking for a healthier option.

Great for dogs. My Frenchies suffer from allergies, and they do really well on this brand compared to others.

As a total dog lover, I’m pretty picky about what goes in my pup’s bowl — and this food truly impressed me. My dog absolutely LOVES the Wild-Caught Salmon recipe. The kibble size is perfect, and it doesn’t have that overly strong or artificial smell some dry foods have. You can tell it’s made with quality ingredients. I also really appreciate that it’s grain-free and made with sustainably sourced ingredients. Knowing the veggies are non-GMO and that the salmon is wild-caught makes me feel good about what I’m feeding him. The 4lb bag was perfect to try, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing a larger size. If you care about clean, ethical ingredients and want your dog excited for mealtime, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend! 🐶💕

This is such a great brand! So happy we found it! Backstory: Our dog kept getting sick and one day I had to rush my dog to the vet because he was pooping blood (sorry if TMI!). Our vet told us our dog has a very sensitive stomach and recommended we switch his food. We tried a couple of brands, but noticed he would throw up and get sick. After a ton of research, we found that not all brands are as clean as they make themselves out to be. After more digging, we found this brand on a list of recommended brands due to the transparency of what goes in the dog food and their sourcing. After switching to this brand, we have not had any issues with his stomach! He absolutely loves this food and helps us open the box when his food is delivered! I am so glad we found this brand. If you order directly from the site, you may run into some issues, though. Several times we had the wrong dog food delivered, but they always make it right and have you donate the wrong order to a local shelter. Due to this, I have had to order the same food from Amazon (hence this review) to get his food quicker if he is running low during a mess up.

Since there is no list of ingredients in the product information, I thought to include one with this review for the wild salmon grain free formula, which is what I'm feeding my dog. It's hard to find any kibble that doesn't include legumes. This one has chickpeas as the #2 ingredient, which is regretful. But they do use wild caught salmon. My dog (a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon) does seem to like it. I wish they used Avocado oil instead of safflower oil (a seed oil).

The reason I purchased Open Farm Salmon kibble is because of limited ingredients, the various proteins available, and the process used to cook it. While my dog absolutely devours this kibble (so the flavor MUST be good) and his fur is silky, but he still has itching and dandruff. So, I am going to temporarily feed him homemade vet approved recipes until I can zero in on what he's having a reaction to. I like mixing homemade with kibble because the crunchy bits are good for his teeth, and my boi loves to crunch. Open Farm will be my go to brand if I buy kibble again, but we just have to isolate more carefully for now to get rid of his dandruff and itching. I did a ton of online researching before buying, so I can highly recommend this brand.

I use another brand as puppy food but this is great to use as treats for your little pet. Great compact size and if you spill in your pocket it wont make a mess (i can vouch for this). Good for full grown dogs and puppies.

I have 2 dogs, one of them is very picky what he eats. I had tried so many different food for him but now im finally happy that he truly likes this food. This will be the food i will continue to buy. Very happy.

Miss Picky Pants, as she’s affectionately known in our household, will spit out filet mignon. I kid you not! She’s 3 years old, and it’s been a challenge since day 1 to find food she’ll tolerate & actually EAT for longer than one meal. In desperation, I ordered this - I knew she quite liked salmon, so I crossed my fingers & bought this. I’ve just ordered the 2nd bag! Let me tell you what a huge happy dance we’re doing in this house! An entire bag of food that isn’t being spit out on the floor, or dropped in individual pieces down the heating vent (yes, she truly does that….). It’s not the cheapest food on the market, but if she likes it, I’m relieved. Between this Open Farm food & healthy treats, she’s thriving. She’s the heartbeat in our home, so we have to keep her happy!
