I used to sell this maybe 20 years ago, its still the best ginseng out there. The real stuff!

Purchased this years ago (not this particular bottle 😃), for brick mason hubby who was having problems with his shoulder. Took it as described, and it helped to alleviate the problem. So thought I would try it when a shoulder problem came up. It worked for me also.

I found that this supplement indeed helps boost energy. However, unlike prescription meds, being a natural supplement it takes about a week, even a little longer, to build a substantial base in the system and then have an effect. I found that taking two 518 mg capsules per day helped my overall energy, and also libido and respective ability. One must heed the label warning about certain health conditions for which it is not suitable. I also found that while the truly excellent Korean Red Ginseng (root) content in this product is adequate, adding supplements such as Catuaba, Muira Puama, Maca, Epimedium, Ttribulus, Ashwagandha, Avena Sativa, Damiana and Ginko Biloba really made a difference for me; but again, natural supplements may have different effects on different men.

Many years ago I was hired as a drug counselor and had to read up on same. I noticed Ginseng again and again and ended up doing considerable research on the topic including a synopsis of a lengthy study done by Russia's space program! A drug clearing house for good(non-biased) info, the Do-It-Now foundation had the best summary stating that much research says Ginseng in almost any ammount may be good (some say VERY good) for you and since it has no side effects except as an excellent laxative, what harm can it do? And it very well may do much good.What is important, very important is what kind of Ginseng you use. BY FAR the best most potent is Korean Red. If you cannot get that than Korean White is next best. The rest are 3rd rate as they contain far less of the good stuff. Don't waist you time with Chinese or American.

My favorite herbal energy product; mellow but definitely noticeable lift. I take one capsule in the a.m.; every few months I lay off for three weeks, since the effects tend to diminish and the breaks revive them. (Tends to go out of stock at my usual supplement supplier, but Amazon seems to have a reliable pipeline.) CAVEAT: After long daily use, often of more than one capsule, I began to have a very troubling irregular heartbeat, which my doctor and I eventually traced to using ginseng.

This is my preferred brand. I have been having a difficult time finding in local stores so I turned to Amazon for it.
