Glass Stirring Rod - 12" 10" 8" 6" 4" Long, 5 MM Diameter - 5 Pack

Bought to stir combination of botanical compounds and not have to use other implements. Glass rods look kind of fragile, but have no real experience yet with either their sturdiness or their durability .

I make my pain relief ointment. Sometimes I make it big or small batches depending on the orders. I like the fact that there are various sizes of stirring rods that fit different sizes of beakers that I use.One thing though, luckily these glass rods were not broken. I saw that the rods came out of the package when it was delivered right at my door.

Keep in mind that I have no other items of this type to compare these to. I needed them to stir my DIY perfume ingredients.The good:-- They come in different sizes.-- The price is not bad, IMO-- I can use them (mostly) for what I need.The not-so-good:-- I wish they came in different circumferences. I would like some thinner ones included.-- The packaging was iffy. For something like this, I'd rather they came in some cardboard-type container.-- I had to find my a way to store them (since they came in paper).Overall, I'm not too disappointed with anything but the packaging. It was cute, but these rods are not that strong. I did find a plastic container that keeps them a little more safe from breaking in between uses.

These were a great price. The first time the broke in shipping, but Amazon easily replaced them.
