A great replacement for broken valve actuators
A spot on like for like replacement. Turns out I didn’t need it as the problem was in the boiler itself, but it works perfectly.

HSA3 3 port valve atuator -- lifespan
I have had 3 of these actuators over 18 years. An average of 6 years each. Unfortunately the last one failed to work properly after 2 years; a month after the guarantee ended! I have dis-assembled an earlier one and can see no obvious wear in it. The motor still goes, the gear wheel and cam ring show no sign of wear and the micro switches appear to function as they should. So I am curious about what is bringing my actuators to an early demise?
