Excellent for trimming between paw pads
I have a toy breed dog (Maltese crossed with Toy Poodle, she's 3kg) and while I have ceramic bladed clippers for her body which work well, have always struggled with clipping smaller areas on her as standard clippers are just too big and I've never previously found paw clippers with sharp enough blades (ceramic blades seem to be a great deal sharper than steel, in my experience, and I have not come across any small clippers with them before). Thus I was very hopeful that these would do the trick, and am delighted to report that they work extremely well. They come in a brown cardboard box with the only included accessories being a small brush for cleaning the blades, and a usb charging cable (no mains adapter included for this, but most people have usb plugs around the place these days). Please note that the instructions say that you must use 5V usb, not the 'rapid charging' 9V versions which come with some newer phones etc. After an initial charge of a couple of hours, the clippers are good to go. The charge level is indicated by a small coloured LED below the on/off button. The clippers are very basic compared to full size models - you can't fit length combs on them (although they are sharp enough that you can control the length quite easily with a steady hand, you do not need to force them through the hair, they cut beautifully with a gentle touch), and there are no options other than on and off. They are not supplied with blade oil either - generally this is because of rules when importing such products from overseas, I have purchased clippers from China before and it had to be removed from the package - but you do need some to keep the blades in good condition. I do think it's a pity that they didn't supply any sort of blade guard for storage, although have found an old electric toothbrush case which fits nicely! The clippers are quiet in use, and don't vibrate noticeably to the touch. My dog isn't keen on having her feet trimmed normally, but tolerated me using these to clip right round her claws and between her pads, which is a major win. The blades feel warm after running for a few minutes, but not hot enough to hurt. I tested them on my arm first before putting them near my girl, and pressed the blades right into my skin while they were running without them leaving a mark on me, so feel very confident that they should not nick the dog unless something really unusual happens.I am very happy with the quality and value of these mini clippers, and recommend them highly.

Worth it, reviews are true!
I have tried loads of these for my 3 little yorkies and they have either been pointless or the vibration was too much so I have totally hoped for the best and that the reviews are true for this and they are! It cuts lovely for paw pads and noses although not suitable for larger areas as the clippers are so tiny but the vibration is low and the noise is low, not quiet, but low and so suitable for our needs.I didn't want to pay so much but with free delivery and for an item that does what it is meant to it is worth it.

Worth buying.
This is a very good item as long as your dog isn't afraid of the noise it makes. It isn't excessively loud in anyway at all. But can still be heard . Which isn't helping with my dog. But for those dogs that aren't upset by the noise of it this is definitely a very good item for cutting a dogs fur.

Works really well
Really easy to use - dog started slipping on the kitchen floor so thought it might be the hairs around his toes and didn’t feel safe trying to get them with scissors!!This looks so small I didn’t think it would work but it’s great and you don’t need to be able to really see right between the toes as it doesn’t cut anything but hair so great when the dog was wriggling away! Not sure it will stop the slipping but it’s definitely a great way to keep hair trim.

Battery doesn't hold its charge
It's really quiet & cuts through short hair well. I've had it for a little while now & although it still cuts well, it no longer holds its charge & needs to be plugged in sooner & sooner, which obviously makes grooming awkward & now takes much longer for the fiddly bits!

Great product. Good quality, easy to use and remarkably quiet trimmer.
We'd been trying for ages to remove a piece of matted hair under our dog's ear using scissors but it was obviously hurting and he pulled away every time we tried to work on it. We switched on the trimmer and let him examine it. It didn't bother him. It took 2 seconds to safely shave off the clump of hair. Money well spent.

Dead on Arrival
Unfortunately we did not even get a chance to try this trimmer as it was dead on arrival and refused to charge so had no option but to return it. We were left disappointed so we could not recommend this product.

Excellet trimmers
The pet trimmer is very quiet. I have a really long haired cat and she finds it really hard to groom herself around her neck and chin. She gets really bad knots/clumps that sit really close to her skin. She has cost me a fortune in the past with vet visits (approx. every 4 weeks) to have them shaved off. These trimmers are absolutely brilliant. They are so quiet they shave really close skin without snagging her skin. She doesn't like loud noises so I was a bit worried she would not let me near her with the trimmers but she just sat on my lap and let me remove approx. 5 clumps. One was even under her chin. The head is nice and small so you only need to remove the hair you need to. She doesn't look like she's been attacked by a fly mo (post vet visit)I recommend these to anyone. Safe yourself some money, a trip to the vets and added stress to your pet.
