Resolution is good and it can do objects and rooms
This works well for the price. Resolution is good and it can do objects and rooms. The only drawback is that it's open source and the only software available with which to use it are flawed. I'm hoping more robust software comes out that makes full use of the hardware's capabilities.

Do not buy!
I repeat do not buy, this product is on it's infancy stages and the software does not work well with the product. Plus it does not fit well on your iPad, no protection. If you happen to fumble your device, you can say by bye to your iPad and this highly priced under developed product. Stay far away from it. Wait a little bit more and you will see better products in the market up and coming that will be much better and a more efficient price.

Poor performance for price
Quality defiantly not there for price. All in all I know wouldn’t recommend.

WHY IS EVERYONE HATING ON THIS AWESOME SCANNER?!
I NEVER write reviews but I am so compelled to write one for this product because of the reputation others have given this product. I I almost didn't buy this scanner because of this ridiculous reviews others had left, but I am truly glad that I ignored them. I don't know what everyone else expected from this scanner to be so butt hurt, but this product seriously rocks.I bought an ipad specifically for this scanner and still spent thousands less than any other scanner of similar quality. I am sure some scanners that cost $5000 or more might out perform this scanner's resolution, but at only a few hundred dollars this product exceeds all of my expectations. I could even scan fur and hair that most high quality scanners freak out over.It is super simple to use and as long as you take your time scanning this thing will give A LOT of bang for your buck. Once in a while, it will spaz out and/or un-calibrate itself mid scan which can be annoying with larger scans, but what can you expect for this price.I was able to do a full body scan of a mascot outfit on a mannequin and had it 3D printed into a bobblehead in less than a day. While a third party company who I had approached to do it with their $8000 scanner was unable to get a successful scan due to the fur.I have used this scanner to take my 3D printing business to the next level and I have made myself A LOT of extra money. VERY glad I didn't get discouraged by the idiots who made the other reviews, who probably had no idea what they were doing.
