I read the reviews after I bought this shirt and didn't quite know what to expect. I'd like to address some other reviews in addition to mine.The smell: I read a lot about the smell, and thought people meant it had a chemical smell. It smells like natural wool, and will always smell of wool. It isn't unpleasant but it is there.The sizing: sizing is geared toward taller men. I am a short woman, and it is long and needs sleeves rolled up. It fits my 6'tall husband well.Some thing I haven't seen mentioned: the colors are vibrant and stayed vibrant through a wash. It didn't shrink much at all in the dryer. The inside is fleeced and soft, but because of the loose weave the fleecing on the inside will pill a bit with wear.2 year update: this is still one of my favorite pull over hoodies. It has been washed and dried innumerable times and still looks practically new. I'm buying one for the husband so he will stop stealing mine.

I’m 6’1, 185 lbs and ordered a large. It fits as expected. With that being said, Baja’s are supposed to be baggy and longer than your normal hoodie (I wear xl hoodies). I could have probably fit into a medium but I prefer the looser fit of the large. The sleeves extend just about midway down my hand where your thumb meets the palm. As other reviewer’s have noted the Baja does have a smell to it. It isn’t a chemical smell, but a stronger wool/burlap scent. The color is the same as in the picture and I LOVE the “fleece” material on the inside. It’s a lot more comfortable than the one I bought in Mexico back in the 90’s. That was literally like putting on a potato sack. I just bought a second one for my wife since she kidnapped mine. If you are debating on purchasing it....buy it! You won’t regret it.

I bought this for my sons 40th birthday. He still loves raga music and his mailbox is painted in Rasta colors. I remember he had one of these years ago and wore it until it fell apart so I took a chance on this. He loves it to a point it brought tears to my eyes. Not to mention he is my youngest and my baby and he just turned 40. Anyway about the hoodie. I was worried about the reviews. A lot of them mentioned it running very large and the sleeves being way too long, I told him this before he tried it on, he laugh and said the sleeves are never too long they are always too short. The hoodie fit him like it was tailored made. I bought the XL because that is his size and almost got the Large because of the reviews, but it was sold out. He has a long torso and I worried about the length but it hit him below the zipper of his pants. When he put it on his comment was "It's so soft, it wasn't like this back in the day!" I could tell he was sincerely very happy with his present and I know he will wear it.

I loveee it. The colors are popping and it’s so comfortable and Snuggie. I ordered a Medium...but it fits like a larger. I could’ve bought a small and been fine.

Super good quality. These are perfect. Made big just like they're supposed to be. I would recommend to order a size down, but I like mine. Will def be ordering more. Super soft on the insideUpdated: even tho I am returning my baja to get a smaller size these are still great quality. Yes they may have a smell but it goes away just air it out. Beautiful and awesomely made product. And actually I'm going to be ordering another one on top of this return so I will be purchasing 2 bajas. I cannot say it enough these are PREMIUM they are worth the tag price. I ordered a cheaper baja from here on the Amazon marketplace and regret doing so. The quality of the baja I ordered from "GOTMEDSTUFF" is no where near the quality. It feels like the car seat cover you buy from advanced Auto parts and they claim it is "Baja Joe" but the tag says "Canyon Creek". Will definitely keep this review updated and get pictures up as soon as I receive the other 2 I'm going to order.UPDATED: Refund was super fast. Dropped package off to UPS, and was refunded not even an hour later. New Baja is on the way.

Ehhhhh disappointing!! Not only are the colors nothing like the advertised photos, this thing stinks to holy hell and you can just tell it won’t hold up... bought this as a gag gift anyways so I’m not crazy mad but the color scheme I actually got is ugly as balls. Maybe steer clear of this if you’re actually wanting to wear this

I LOVE these shirts, I have 2 and will order more! They are warm, soft, vibrant colors, more so than the pics show. However, BEWARE washing. These run about a size large UNTIL you wash them, then they fit great.I ordered a size larger than normal (3X) but it was so big I returned them and got the 2X. I'm 5'7" about 230 and like this type of shirt a bit baggy. I've had mine about a month now, washed twice and the first time they shrunk about a size all around. Still happy with the results since the 2X was a bit big too. If your don't want them to shrink I would recommend COLD wash and line dry. I'm lazy and wash everything on warm and dry on Perma Press. They shed quite a bit too so wash separately the first time.The sleeves are super long but a quick rollup does the trick and roll them back down when the wind and cold takeover. Love these shirts, so warm and soft with a BIG front pocket!

I always buy a medium, but after reading the reviews I bought a small. Glad I did because a medium would have been too big. Also, I ordered the El Paso which according to the advertised picture was a shade of yellow. Wrong! It’s a burlap brown. Not even close to a pale yellow. And the smell that everyone is complaining about. It’s literally a burlap bag/hay smell - that’s all - so relax. I would have given this 5-stars had the color been accurate.
