Putty Buddiesoriginal earplugs

We have a dedicated swimmer in our family, who trains several times a week. Unfortunately, she has been plagued by ear aches / pressure pain and regularly gets water stuck in there. We've had numerous trips to the doctor, with the resulting ear infections. We were told because of her age and therefore ear size, it was something we had to endure and she would grow out of - the problems would lessen as her ear insides grew bigger. Needless to say, this didn't go down well with her, or us. We tried having the swim cap pulled down further, to no avail. A test of foam ear plugs was also completely useless - her ears were far too small for even the smaller varieties to have any effect and they were fiddly and annoying and pinged out. Our last-ditch attempt was these putty plugs. The problem is with swim training - needing to dive, listen to instructions and swim without irritation / fiddling. These ear plugs were absolutely fantastic. They moulded into her ear and therefore stayed in place, partially under a swim cap. She was still able to hear instructions and said they felt comfortable. Diving posed no problems - they stayed in place. Blocking out the water meant the pressure pains have gone completely and there is now significantly less chance of water getting in there and infections taking hold. We are really thankful that we have been able to find a solution to our problem - and these are very cheap remedies! - and one that our normally fussy daughter is very happy to use.

This is my second pack of buddies. The pack comes with three sets in bright colours plus a little round container to keep the current ones in. Each set can be worn a few times before the material begins to deteriorate. I find them easy to use and they have made a big difference in avoiding water in my ears and subsequent infections. Highly recommended.

Bought for my 3 year old for use in bath and swimming pool after having grommets fitted. Used with the ear bandit for extra protection. The putty is tacky and lasts a lot longer than I was expecting. 3 pairs in the pack. Easy to press and mould over ear rathet than inserting in to ear you squish n push putty to make a seal. The colours are bright and nice little box to keep them in. Once moulded it provided a nice seal and prevented water getting in ears. Ltitle one was happy to wear and caused no discomfort he was eager to help put them in. Really pleased

Putty buddies have been brilliant for my son for years. They have enabled him to swim without ear problems. The only thing I'd improve with this set is having a pot for all 3 sets. I do worry that once the pack is opened that the other 2 pairs will dry out so I keep them in an airtight container.

Always buy these , use for showering and swimming and never lets water in, I suffer with a medical condition and vertigo so these are a game changer for me, my husband suffers with ear infections, doesn’t matter how many times I’ve said in the past “don’t get your ears wet) !!!!!!!! Well finally he listened , started using these putty buddies and low and behold no more ear infections, lol. Highly recommend.In some reviews I have seen people say long hair got stuck onto the silicone but I tie my hair back while I put them in my ears and never had a problem, I also warm them up in my hands for a few seconds so when I put in ear it’s extra pliable and moulds to ear nice and tight .

These are absolutely excellent! My 9 year old has had issues with his ears since he was a baby, we were recommended by the doctor to use cotton wall and vaseline to barrier his ears while showering/bathing/swimming and then I came across these. They work fantastically well and we have seen a massive improvement in the past couple of months we have used them. Definitely worth the purchase, I have just ordered my second lot.

Pliable and easy to fit. Good seal most of time. Only downside - check ears before you go on a date. Being bright coloured and sticky (good) you'll find bits get left in and cause comment!

Can't fault the product at all. Great for my son whilst swimming to avoid ear infections. What is frustrating is not being able to choose the preferred colour. For the second time, my son has girl colours and will not wear them so I will have to go else where for them.

Me encantó , fácil aplicación, es de un material que lo puedes extender y se adhiere a la piel lo que no deja que entre el agua...he probando antes los de tubito, los de cera y me quedo con estos definitivamente, vienen 3 pares y una cajita para guardarlos, instrucciones ,pues nada más hay que cubrir la parte del orificio, el contorno y listo!!. Lo he comprado para un pequeñín de 4 años ...nos fue genial!!

Haben diese Stöpsel schon mehrmals bestellt, weil wir echt überzeugt sind. Meine Tochter hat Paukenröhrchen und soll daher mit Wasser vorsichtig sein. Diese Stöpsel sind einfach in die Ohren zu machen, halten Spritzwasser gut ab und sind dann restlos wieder zu entfernen. Einfach super

I ordered putty buddy ear plugs for my kids to use in the pool. Where other ear plugs would have fallen out and had to be reinserted (over and over which would cause irritation) these did not. Which meant less complaining andno more swimmers ear. Yay! Thanks! I will definitely recommend these.

Abbiamo acquistato questi tappi per nostro figlio che ha un drenaggio transtimpanico, e per diversi mesi deve evitare ingresso di acqua e sporcizia nel canale uditivo.Sono tappi modellabili e appiccicosi che una volta posizionati all'interno del padiglione auricolare si modellano con leggera pressione delle dita fino a farli aderire perfettamente tutto intorno.L'adesività superficiale lo mantiene aderente alla pelle e rende davvero improbabile il passaggio di acqua. Li stiamo usando anche per la spiaggia durante il gioco con la sabbia, che come sappiamo si infila ovunque e Luigi gioca serenamente e senza limitazioni.Per le nuotate e i bagni al mare abbiamo abbinato anche una fascia in neoprene che tiene compresso ulteriormente il tappo.Un paio di consiglii per chi possa aver bisogno di questi tappi: -sono riutilizzabili, ma con l'aumentare delle manipolazioni tendono a perdere il potere adesivo con il rischio che non mantengano bene la posizione diventando inefficaci. Quindi cambiateli appena notate un decadimento delle proprietà per cui li usate.- se userete una fascia come ulteriore precauzione, il tappo vi si potrebbe attaccare con il rischio che se il bimbo la sposta un po' durante il gioco il tappo si deformi. Noi abbiamo ovviato al problema applicando un cerotto rotondo ( i classici cerotti che si tengono in casa) sopra il tappo.Grazie a Putty Buddies l'estate non sarà una tortura per Luigi e spero per molti altri bimbi.
