Great product but the colour is way off, it’s a much lighter brighter colour

Compacts down to a decent size (no bigger than a beach towel when rolled) in my suitcase. Suits living on an island perfectly, as I can pop it into the car or a backpack and head to the beach, knowing that I have something I can use to dry and change in or, alternatively, I can simply sit in it and drive home again! Modestly sized for the average person (I am 5' 10.5", weighing approx. 180 lbs (80kgs)), I don't feel claustrophobic in the poncho, and it certainly covers my modesty. Ladies, the arm holes are quite large and when turning sideways I can see my chest (I'm male, no issues) - but this might be worth bearing in mind. That being said, if they were any smaller, accessibility might be an issue...

I saw these on The Apprentice. I bought one, loved it and then bought another and one for my husband. If you love the beach and swimming in the sea this is a very useful garment. I tested it for three weeks in Gran Canaria last month, January, where I swam in the sea most days. I could wear it over my swimsuit in the hotel and be respectable, it was cosy over a damp swimsuit later, for sitting on the beach and was fine to wear back to the hotel room. The sleeve holes are wide enough to allow for dressing inside the robe if that is your preference. I plan to use it on future holidays and here in Cornwall where we live. I am on the large size but it leaves plenty of room.

Pros..it is terry towelling so is great for drying with,7 year old grandson loves it as a grim reaper dress up outfitOk for the bathroom and in house.Cons,The neck space is narrow ( I am going to split mine and stitch in a V to widen it)The arm holes are wide so have to be careful being a femaleAnyone above a size 18 does not have much room to get changed in.Had the size been more generous I would have purchased more as they are terry towelling, however due to sizing I would not buy again.

This summer I bought a RIB to zip around the coast on. I bought this changing towel as there’s nowhere to go and get changed on the boat, especially when you have friends with you. This towel makes like so much easier, just pop it on, get changed and voila. It’s also really good at drying you quickly. It’s not that horrible sort of towelling that just pushes the water around. It’s also not that horrible microfibre that feels horrible to touch. It got a lot of use this summer with the amazing weather that we had. Looking forward to using it a lot next summer too. Cheaper than a lot of these changing towels and every bit as good quality. Would highly recommend. Also doubles a dearth maul costume if required ;)

I bought this to get changed in at the beach so I wouldn't get my car wet after jumping out of the water.I am disappointed as when removing the label from the product the plastic clips (don't know what they are called) that hold the label into the fabric were very difficult to remove and has led to the fabric fraying straight out of the bag. A bit of a joke considering this cost 30 pounds. The fabric itself is alright, its just basic towel fabric shaped into a poncho. I cannot comment on its drying capabilities yet, but I can say that it is a good fit. I am 5"9 and it goes down to my shins.I don't think this is worth 30 pounds, maybe 20 at a push and again I am disappointed at the fraying of the fabric after having it for 30 seconds...Overall I would recommend this product as it seems that it will work perfectly and fits me well anyway. I wish they packaged it differently as I am not the only one to comment on this. Despite my comments I am happy enough with the product and will get the use out of it. I feel like a real surfer since I got this poncho. It does exactly what I need; keeps warm and cosy whilst getting changed into & out of my wetsuit.Before I got this, I had to change in a filthy loo as I was the only girl with a bunch of fellas. That loo smelt really bad and changing in it took ages as I didn't want any of my belongings to touch the disgusting floor. With this, I can just slip the wetsuit on at the car with the guys. I haven't mastered how to take my bikini top off whilst wearing it, so I'll just have to get another one as I'm not getting rid of the poncho!

I bought this because I hate getting naked at the gym and there aren’t enough cubicles for all of us. Anyway, it’s really roomy so you don’t need to worry if you’re a larger person. Soft, easy to dress underneath it, and has kept its colour. I imagine this would be perfect for the beach too. I think it’s a little bit pricey, but it was exactly what I needed so was willing to pay. I wasn’t disappointed.
