Cable seems to be a bit hit and miss with my projector running off of the PlayStation. Sometimes it won’t connect. It’s even disconnected a few times and states there’s no signal. Can’t recommend you’d buy this over any other cable. Picture quality is fine when connected.

There are many HDMI leads on the market, many of high quality, so what makes this one so special?Well quite simply the length of the cable, this one is some 30 meters (about 100 feet) long! Why would you want such a long lead? Well in my case it was so using an HDMI splitter I could run an HDMI lead from the lounge to the bedroom so I could use my cable box in both locations.When I got it I wasn't sure if it would work over such a distance as most HDMI leads are no more than a couple of meters long, however I'm happy to report that it seems to work fine. There are no picture or sound issues so it works and meets my needs.In terms of cable construction it seems to be made of high quality materials like most premium HDMI leads so I have no real worries about its longevity. Overall a great quality lead.

I made a mistake when ordering this. My husband had told me that we needed a new HDMI cable, and when this came up on Vine, I dutifully ordered it. However, I didn't take any notice of the length of the cable - thinking the 30m meant 300 millimetres - so what would be a good length for a HDMI cable to connect our Alexa cube thing to the TV. But, Oh no. Oh no, no, no.When it came, I was a bit stunned to find the box very heavy. What could be so heavy? Well, let me tell you. A 30 meter long HDMI Cable can be that heavy.So yeah.Great cable. Shame I messed up the length. Oh well. Means we can watch the projector outdoors this summer.

I tested using a Samsung S21FE phone through a USB C to HDMI hub and connected to an AOC display at 1080p through this 30m HDMI cable. So there was lots that could have gone wrong. Happily, nothing did, suggesting that this cable will probably handle whatever you can throw at it.In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Works absolutely fine, despite the distance.Things I didn't like:- Nothing.Do I recommend it?Yes - it's an effective HDMI cable and does the job. Although it is expensive, if you need to transmit HDMI over that sort of distance, I can confirm that this will do the job.
