Not so bad but just seemed maybe a little salty or gritty to me. Definitely had orange flavor. Just not my thing

My husband enjoys these drink packets and drinks these before his long runs. He likes the taste so they are actually enjoyable and not just something to fuel his body. He likes his heavily flavored so he adds two packets at a time.

I like the ingredients in the UCAN Hydrate + Amnino packets. It is sugar free and provides electrolytes. That said, I'm not a huge fan of the taste. I mixed up a packet in my bottled water for a hike with my two kids. Beyond the taste, the biggest complaint from both kids (which I agree with), is that the water wasn't refreshing or thirst quenching. Both kids asked for regular water after taking a swig of the UCAN water. Both kids are fans of gatorade, so I don't think it's an aversion to flavored drinks in general. I ordered this back in January of this year, and I still have 7 unopened packets.

I wanted to try this UCAN Hydrate + Aminos when I work out to help with muscle recovery and to stay hydrated.Overall, I think it is a good product. The packets make it convenient and easy to bring them with me. I just throw a few of them in my gym bag. The formula is great. I like that it’s packed with electrolytes and amino acids. I also like that it does not have any fillers. While the absence of sugar is a plus form me, it might also be why it just tastes ok to me and not great.I do feel like the product is working. For 10 packets I would say that it is good value.

Loved it ! I have a hard time drinking water and with this product I was able to drink more water and it was very flavorful and give me the energy to keep go with my day !!!

I got these for my son who works out daily and is always drinking sports drinks. He loves the ease of the packets being easy to take everywhere with him and being so small he has even just put one in his pocket to go with him to the gym. Being a small single serve hydrator is great and he likes it doesn't have a lot of additives. He says he feels better after drinking this like he's had a few Gatorades and an energy boost, which is great!Why it's 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the taste. The first time he used it his whole face was like, what is this? He said it also left a funny taste in his mouth and so he can't really just mix in water. He has to add juice or a liquid additive for water.So, this is a great product for after workouts or even just working outside. Really anytime a lot of energy is used these would be great. Just add something with it to cut the taste. He has said he wants to add this to his daily routine which I think makes it a real winner.

I ordered this to easily throw in my hiking pack. I ended up using this as a hangover cure. AND IT WORKED. Something happens in your 30's where you can no longer feel as great the next day after a couple drinks.... this alleviated my symptoms easily! It has a standard effervescent orange flavor, it's nothing to brag about. It did break down easily in water without leaving granules behind to crunch on at the end. The electrolytes and the aminos came in clutch! If this worked for a champagne hangover, this will absolutely work for endurance in the mountains. I absolutely recommend this!

The individual packet opened easily and it mixed well into room temp water. That being said, I am sitting here trying to sip this drink for the past 10 minutes, and it doesn’t taste any better as time goes on. It tastes like a popular 90’s Children’s vitamin crushed up and it lingers on your tastebuds. Maybe others can get past it because of other benefits, such as the low calories. I don’t think I can drink anymore of it.
