Somehow this cable has the left and right audio mixed up so it isn't fit for headphone use.

Rubbish
Abosulte rubbish. You have to plug them wrong way round to get the mic working. So the short bit is near your waistline instead of neckline. Works on phone as above way. Will not work on ps4.
