This is a cute story and would be a fun read to complement a gardening project as it gives the basics of gardening within the story. Since there are not a lot of gnome stories to choose from, this is a viable option if someone needs a gnome-themed book. We used this for story time during our city's Gnome Roam. It offers a responsive reading experience, which holds children's attention well.
