Misleading description
Thought a lucky 1953 sixpence would make a nice add on gift. Which is the selling point for me. Sadly I didn't read the item description in full, this states random dated sixpence. I won't give this as 1956 means nothing to the 70year old apart from she was 3 years old.

Nice case but Misleading Year
I was skeptical from the reviews but please not this is a random year coin... I expected a 1952 for 70th birthday but received 1966 coin in a square hard plastic case, sponge with circle cut out and piece of paper in case saying 70th birthday. It's nicely presented just shame coined year is random... Although some would say 1966 was a lucky year...

This was bought for a friend
This was bought as a part present for a friend. She loved the idea of receiving a sixpence which was made in the same year of her birth. She said it will be kept as a keepsake to remind herself of how things change

mum loved it
Brought this for my mum as the currency changed the year l easy born and thought it'd be a nice little gift for her 70th. I was right, she loved it. Its not bright and new, it's got years of use and I think that makes it look a lot better. Definitely a good little gift

Novelty gift
It was ok as a novelty gift. Only complaint was that the coin was rusty on one side but I did not have enough time to return it

small but sweet
I wanted little fun gifts that would be easy to pack and this was exactly that. It wasn't expensive and I liked the ideal of a lucky sixpence. The box it comes in is plastic and a bit cheap looking but for a fun little gift it was fine
