I so wanted to like this headset. Its cheap and cheerful, but sadly its not for me.Pros- Optics are good - but only if you are short sighted, or have perfect vision- Comfortable to wear- Ajustable lensesCons- Optics are not good if you are long sighted - I had to wear my glasses, and they were a very tight fit. I found my glasses fog up, which makes it a pain to use the headset. I'm only mildly longsighted, so this was a big disappointment.- Yes the optics are adjustable, but the controls are poor, and flimsy. When I opened the box one of the lenses was drooping - so the lenses dont seem to be in there very securely.- There's no "action" button. This is the main reason I will be returning the headset, as you either need to rig something yourself, or use a third party bluetooth thing. I honesty thought it did have an action button - but it doesnt.- No QR code. These things are supposed to have a QR code somewhere either on the box or on the unit, so you can "pair" it with an app. Nope - there is none.- Instructions are in chinese with no translation. Not an issue really for me though.I found that with glasses, it worked pretty well - even though I had to set the lens focus up as far as it would go - ditto the pupil distance. It was JUST in focus, so it was ok. But sadly I couldnt interact with google cardboard (or indeed any app that doesnt have the "stare at a spot to activate" function). Since I got the headset mostly for google cardboard, this makes the unit next to useless for me. My iphone 7 plus fits, even with my leather case, which was good - but the clamps push down on the "volume down" control. I could resolve this by inserting the phone in the other way, however.A small gripe - light was visible with the headset on, and the phone in place. Basically a line of external light on either side of the phone. Not sure why - I think its the air vents.For 20 quid, its ok, but its definitely not 5 stars in my opinion.
