Rotastak Curvy Tubes and Adaptor Kit

We have battled and battled to overcome all the design faults and get these assembled. After three attempts the basic pipe is together but has also come apart. Trying to get it connected to the Creepy Castle led to much swearing so we've abandoned it until cleaning out cage time. The product we were sent contained a mish-mash of clear and pink and orange connections that look awful - especially for a boy's pet - as well as the tidy looking pictured curves. The x-pieces are in a very poor quality polymer and don't seem sturdy enough to stay connected. Also, the two leaflets in the box were shoddy photocopies that give the impression that the provider has lost interest in the product. One more attempt to get this together today and then it'll be refund request. Such a shame as the hamster rather likes the long curve section when he tried it out away from the cage.

Yes it's ok but OMG did it take me time to assemble. Our hamster cage is quite long so didn't get the curl but that was ok it was getting my head round the attachments and the very poorly photocopied instructions, couldn't really understand them so ended up discarding them and did some free form construction. Worked out in the end but that was after two hours of trying to construct it, probably me but even so I don't think I should have had to struggle that much.

This pack has given us extra flexibility and security with our rotastak hamster cage. Rotastak tubes etc do not seem very robust so we have purchased this for spares, although our hamster now has an extra set of tubes attached to her cage aswell now! Could do with some instructions or ideas of how to use the parts supplied.

These tubes are good but they are REALLY hard to connect. I have hurt myself in the process so changing them around is not that easy a task. I like to change them now and again to give my hamster Arthur a slightly more interesting existence! Once they are connected though they are strong and safe.

Good selection of the tubes. There is enough of them to connect two hamster houses with two different corridors (photo uploaded)... we have still 2 tubes left for later extensions.Some pieces are easier to connect, others disconnect itself. You may need to soak connector rings in hot water for a while to slip them on easier. But once you will find perfect combination they will stay connected properly.

Only downfall i have for this product is the plastic components to join the tubing...not very secure even when the tubing has been inserted correctly.

An absolute sod to fit together, injuries were sustained in the process. Having said that, once together it stays together and little Harry seems to enjoy scuttling through the tubes.

nice to add extensions, but they are very expensive, and quite difficult to join together. Be aware that the solid coloured pieces have no grips inside them to help the hamster
