PETZL Tikka Headlamp (350 Lumens) with Glow-in-the-Dark Reflector - Green (Classic)

Reliable. Bright. 3 modes easy to switch between. Durable build. Comfortable in head. Nice bright/wide light beam. Feels easy on head, light. Batteries seem to last a long time using good quality AAA batteries- they’re easy to replace with a firm closing battery compartment. I like that it glows after use so if you need to find it again, you can see it glowing. feels like a great value for price. Much better than some of the rechargeable ones that seem to not last very long. This has been very reliable for camping, working on car, power outage situations and other uses - i just grab it when sink now need a light.

Great light. Purchased for gift, after previously buying one. Great light for camping, mechanics or for those who are getting older and just need a little more light, when working on things. Headlamp is very bright. Headband is comfortable and stable. Battery life is great. Highly recommend.

I have to walk my dog in the dark a lot. This headlamp is very bright and easy to use. Petzel is a proven lamp. It uses regular AAA batteries and has many different settings but I just use regular straight light. It has three brightness settings. It lights my way and makes it easy to locate Luke's poop to pick it up. A very simple to use, lightweight, economical and dependable llight. It also makes it easy for cars to see me. Just what I needed.

What a deal! Love the Petzel quality is great and durability is amazing. We bought yellow- green one for my father to help fix it across the room. We have taken on many camping trips and have used it to help with jobs around the house where I need both hands. I would suggest buying the rechargeable battery pack for the headlight as I use it ALL the time and don’t want o keep purchasing batteries.

Solid quality and controls. After using this headlamp a few times, I think that I will be looking at the Actik for more lumens. I was using this headlamp the other day and almost stepped on a frog while hiking after sunset. That would have been unfortunate for both of us (but mostly for the frog). You can always use a lower brightness setting on a headlamp with more lumens.

Definitely buy the rechargeable battery, regular ones don't last long at all. But great headlamp with the rechargeable battery

Purchased my first Petzl Tikka headlamp over five years ago. Still going strong. Purchased this one as a gift for my son, which he loved. I like the battery life, especially with the lithium rechargeable battery that is sold separately, but it has the option of adding regular disposable batteries in a pinch. The band is comfortable and adjustable. It has a red light function too so that I can keep my night vision. Easy way to control the light functions with just one button. Light and durable. Cannot ask for more.

Misleading Description About the Battery The headlamp itself works fine, but the listing is misleading. It advertises the “CORE” rechargeable battery and “Hybrid Concept” power system, which lets it use either AAA batteries or the Petzl CORE rechargeable pack. What isn’t made clear is that the CORE battery is not included — it has to be purchased separately for around $30. That feature was the main reason I chose this model, so it’s really disappointing to find out after the fact. I’m returning it and going with a Black Diamond rechargeable instead. Please make it clear in the description that the CORE battery is sold separately

I was recommended this by a friend and it’s an excellent head lamp. Looking forward to using it on my next trip. I bought the outer case that doubles as a tent light too and it works really well.

Great price and a good brand. Came as described. Have not used yet as it was a gift. But appears okay.

I bought two of these and both stopped working. The light would start flashing after a few minutes or so (as in going on and off). Or, staying off for a minute then turned on flashing. Replaced batteries but kept happening. I love Petzls, wondering if these were a knock off.
