Back to the Roots Organic Microgreens Grow Kit with Ceramic Planter, Expandable Soil, Organic Seeds, and Germination Lid

I love this little micro green kit! The kit is pretty much self explanatory and the instructions were easy to understand. The amount of seeds you get could easily cover twice the surface area of the ceramic dish. Quality looks great. Just planted and watered today, will see in two days if they sprout by then like it says so I will come back and update if things don't grow accordingly. I also like the fact that you can get text reminders to water it so you don't forget! I can't wait to snip these delicious greens and add them to my sandwiches and salads! EDIT* These are DELICIOUS! I add them to everything as a pretty little garnish but my kids have been asking for them on their sandwiches! As a mom, I am THRILLED that they ask for them because of the health benefits from the microgreens alone! For $10, this is a MUST have in your kitchen! I loved the reminder texts I got from Back to the Roots and guide on the website. It was fun to watch the process from planting to sprouting and the growth every day! This easily became a regular addition to my live herb garden that I have in my kitchen! You can even use the seeds to grow spouts in a jar! I regularly use sprouts and now microgreens to add freshness and nutrients to our salads and sandwiches. I have ordered other seeds from them and have not had any issues! Seriously, this company is a God-send and this kit is a MUST HAVE!

Followed instructions didn't not grow..... only weeks after harvest did a few sprouts appear. But not wait I hoped for....

Comes with instructions that are easy to understand. Dish is great size to keep by your kitchen sink. I’m not sure if I put too much water but I did have to add some extra soil. Quick growing.

I like that this was organic and in a style-neutral pot that didn’t take up a lot of room. The optional text reminders were helpful. Unfortunately, it didn’t grow as expected, even after carefully following the instructions. (The instructions could be a little clearer though. How is one supposed to know if they should put 3-5 TBSPs?) I waited until after the 10 day period I was expecting to harvest to leave this review. By then, mold was starting to grow so I had to discard it.

I did like this product for the most part. It is a good deal for the price. The little ceramic dish is cute. However, FYI, the germination lid is nothing but a piece of cardboard. So it will not last very long. I did laminate mine to keep it from getting ruined with water by accident.

My First one arrived broken but amazon sent out a ups driver to pick it up for free and had a replacement sent out the same day. Once it arrived, I was impressed with the quality of the ceramic and the sheer number of seeds that came in this kit. Since there is no bottom watering option, I'd say there is about 3 cycles of seeds in the kit since I don't want a dense forest of microgreens that won't allow water through. These microgreens are very good and dont even make it to a plate most of the time cause my kids beg me to harvest them. When they do make it to a plate, they are very tasty garnishes to any dish. I got mine for $12.99 but I have seen it goes as Low as $9.99, at either price this is a good addition to a desk or kitchen windowsill.
