About six months ago, I purchased two JOUNJIP Double-Sided Keyless Entry Door Locks, and they’ve exceeded my expectations in both performance and ease of use. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid and secure—exactly what I needed for gates that require access from both sides without relying on keys. What truly sets this product apart is the outstanding tech and customer support. I encountered a couple of issues, and their team responded quickly, patiently, and with impressive attention to detail. They guided me step by step and even sent a replacement part to ensure everything worked perfectly. It’s rare to find a support team this dedicated—and based in the US rather than overseas. The locks operate smoothly, and once installed, they feel very sturdy. I really value the peace of mind that comes with a mechanical, keyless design: no batteries to replace and no keys to lose. This handle is an investment and glad I made it in this company it’s durable but we had a user error happen that the keys were sticking and we didn’t know to press the “C” button thought it was broken and when we went to take it out the screw extension dropped in our gate I contacted the company because I had no idea where to re purchase and the company sent me a whole new set of the screws for free! AMAZING customer service and easy to get ahold of. Would 100% spend the money again it’s made very well and can’t beat customer service

We have a gate that we've been needing a lock for. However, everything we've tried either is difficult to use or just a cheaply made lock. We are glad that we found this as it is the absolute best. It's very secure, professionally made, and works perfect with ease. It's very nice looking too (see pictures). The lock has some key features that we needed. -we can either keep the gate unlocked and just lock when needed to. Or... -we can have it locked at all times so when we close the gate it is locked without having to insert a key or enter code. So easy. Other locks we've seen you have to unlock it to get out then go to the other side when leaving and lock again to secure it. Not this....we just unlock to get out and close the gate; IT'S LOCKED. We can also change from keeping it locked or unlocked by simply just pressing the buttons. No batteries needed either so it will never go dead. This lock works great for us. It's exactly what we've been looking for. Lastly we had a question so contacted them; their customer service is impeccable. We are now planning on use these locks on some doors also. We definitely recommend this lock.

This lock is just what i needed to keep my front gate locked from the inside as well as the outside. The only thing is, the number buttons are very small so if your fingers are large you’ll probably have a problem. My fingers are not very large and the buttons are a bit challenging for me. Otherwise, it’s been about a month and it works fine in our mild weather climate

AMAZING customer service. I am so impressed and thankful for their team. We ordered a lock that we love. We needed some troubleshooting though and the jounjip team has been so incredibly responsive and helpful. You talk to actual people who take care of you. The product itself is great too. We’re very happy with our lock and feel it’s worth the price. Installation was easy and overall we would rate it a 5/5; their customer service is a 10/10!!!

I decided to get this because the Lockey version was around twice the price which wasn't in itself an issue, but there were a lot of issues that came up in reviews pertaining to not only the quality of the spindle (which had problems with getting bent), but also the very poor customer service. Jounjip reviews suggested really good service and comparable build quality. I got the Jounjip installed and didn't read one aspect of operation in the manual), so I called the number on the website and a live person answered right away and talked me through my (user error) problem. Absolutely fantastic service! Couldn't be more delighted. I really get the sense these guys will stand by their product. I have to admit I also like that it doesn't have "DIGITAL" or "LOCKEY DIGITAL" written on it. Just a nice clean keypad that so far operates smoothly! I'll update if there's any reason to do so!

Extremely overpriced for the qaulity. Ive tried about 4 different locks. They always get stuck and stop working after a few uses. You constantly have to disassemble to fix and redo only for it to work about 7 to 8 opens before it stops working again.

I'm not sure which is better, the lock or the company's customer service! The lock works great. I have a son with autism that I need to keep safe. This locks ensures he can't get out of the house without supervision while allowing us to get in and out of the house with ease. The 2 questions I had were answered by Jon in a VERY timely manner (seemed like minutes). He explained everything I needed to know in user friendly terms and even sent me another copy of the user's manual as I was unable to locate mine. A great double sided key pad lock and super duper customer service. Thanks Jon!!!

Worked for about a week before the locking mechanism stopped working. You can easily open both sides without the code. Screws already rusting. Total piece of junk hardware.

Overall, the installation of the double-sided key code lock went smoothly and the unit itself functions well. The lock feels sturdy, and the dual-code feature provides added security, which is exactly what we were looking for. That said, I was really frustrated by the fact that we had to purchase an extension pin kit separately—at an additional cost of $50. For a lock in this price range, one would reasonably expect that necessary installation components like extension pins would be included in the box, or at least clearly indicated as a required add-on. Having to pause the installation and wait for another part—not to mention spending more money—was a major inconvenience. It’s a good lock, but the extra hidden cost and lack of transparency around included hardware were disappointing. Rating: 3.5/5 Great performance, but the added cost and hassle of missing parts took away from the experience.
