This my 7th purchase of a Lavolta charger. Prior were for Toshiba and HP laptops. This purchase was for a Lenovo ideapad 500. The charger supplied is a bit disappointing in cable wrinklling, I tend to use my laptop at home and onsite so the charger is always getting wrapped up causing more problems. So thought a second charger would be better. As I say have used Lavolta in the past and have been very happy with them....they work, run cool and charge to full slightly faster than originals. Overall I am very pleased with the new charger, price was excellent (£14.77 delivered!!).20v 4.5A output leaves plenty of room for comfortable charge rate and It DOES run cool unlike many others on the market.Against a Lenovo original coming close to £70.I like the mains lamp and the UK fused clover leaf cable supplied.Overall, this was yet again a good buy and the seller is recommended. Checkout your make and model and see if they do one, you will not regret it.BTW, I am a computer repair engineer

The charger works with my Lenovo Yoga 500 but if the connector is pushed the full way in then it doesn't actually charge my laptop. I have to wiggle the connector slowly out until it is at the right balance point to power the laptop. Bit of a pain to do, especially when out of battery so you cannot tell if it is connecting to charge back up. This sounds minor but it is a real problem when you shift the laptop a bit and then the connector moves.

Good item - works perfectly. Excellent customer service from Smart Parts UK as they very quickly (within a couple of days) replaced the first item which became faulty after a few months. Recommended item and Seller.

Bought this charger as I developed a loose connection in the original one. Was impressed that it came with both parts of the charger as, often, replacements just seem to come with the adapter and you have to find your own cable (and the connector is always different to the one you already have).I cannot tell any difference between this item and the original I was using. Works perfectly and was a good price.

Worked like a charm! Now I have easy access to a charger at work and home without having to lug them back and forth.

Very short cables on both sides of the adaptor. Also, it generates a lot more RF interference than the original. The mains cable split at the adaptor end within a month of getting it.Probably OK if you don't move your laptop very much.

Did what it said on the box.What was exceptional was the quick delivery.

Work fine, have had this a few months after the previous charger broke - no problems at all.
