This paddle was unexpected
This paddle was an eye opener for me. Mine came beautiful, smooth and well made. It is light weight. The width of the blades was slightly wider than others I looked at. It has proper "shoulders" when some I saw did not. It seems to be a very simple no adjustments paddle. I have a wider recreational kayak and the length of this paddle was what is supposed to be correct for me, close but maybe not perfect for the wide cockpit. I absolutely love this paddle. The technique for using it was a bit different, the flat hand grip-push pull at the paddle shoulders was far more relaxing and provides a powerful stroke with less hand fatigue or shoulder stress. No drip rings, but not needed. I waxed the blades and the water shed when blade left the water, did not travel down the blade. Each stroke moved me right along. It was easy to handle. Its compact flat shape, plus included storage bag makes it convenient to travel with and store. This is now my primary paddle and I can recommend this one as an economical way to trial this style of paddle. If it holds up I can see no reason to ever spend more. Time will tell.

Good so far
I bought 2 of these to try - one for my wife and one for me. We recently took them on a 40 mile open-water paddle and so far they have passed the test. Lock-up of the 2 halves is snug and secure, which was my first concern. When paddling hard I thought I could perceive a very mild flexing, but there was zero flutter and no perceivable structural issues. These paddles are very light. As another reviewer noted, the mold seams are the biggest downside thus far, but as I paddle with gloves, it was a non issue for me. We both like the Greenland paddle experience enough that I'll likely upgrade us to something really nice someday and these will stow nicely as backups on the deck.

Very good quality
At this point I can only comment on initial quality. The first impression is great and on a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 9. Here's my take and why. The construction appears sound and the appearance is very nice, but not perfect. I can see small errors in the hand layup where the two mold halves meet...it's not perfect. The hardware, etching, and printing appear top notch. I dabble a lot with carbon fiber myself and I was amazed at the price point. This is great value! Factor in time, material and labor it's hard to beat...even for the expert DIYer. It would not have been my first choice to bond two halves...rather, I prefer an air bagged, with internal bladder construction, to insure that internal CF creates the strongest bond and strength. On another hand, is it necessary? You shouldn't expect the same tolerance as an aircraft propellor. This paddle is lite, looks great, and has built in flexibility. This blingy paddle will grab orther people's attention at half the price.

Could be a nice paddle with a bit of finish work
On the one hand, offering a Greenland paddle at all is quite forward thinking - there are not many options available. Of the ones that are on the market, this paddle is at the lower end of the price range. For someone like myself who has never tried a Greenland paddle, this is an obvious entry point. However, I feel that the finish work on this paddle is not at the same level as the basic construction of it. There is a rough / abrasive seam around the entire paddle including the area where your hands will grip it. IMO not acceptable for $200, even if the paddle itself is sturdy and light, and made of carbon fiber. Also, there is a bit of rotation - maybe 1/32" - between the two halves of the paddle. This again is down to fit and finish.I took the trouble of sanding down the seam and then applied a top coat to the paddle. Not something I'd suggest anyone else do, I wore a respirator due to the hazardous nature of carbon dust. But, after doing this work myself I've got a pretty sweet paddle with a nice case as well. If Wonitago were to sell finished product like that it would be a 4-5 star review from me.

Excellent paddle, easier on the arms than a standard Euro Paddle.
Great light weight paddle. Faster and easier on the arms than a Euro paddle. Only down side is it doesn't come with drip guards. We fixed that with window weather stripping. Easy to Adjust for shallow water and turns the kayak easier. Please watch a video on the proper way to use a Greenland paddle if you never owned one or you will hold it like a Euro and feel a slight vibration. just turn 10 degrees forward rotation and go for it. You'll glide through the water effortlessly. Thank you JE

Love it!
Tried this out for the first time yesterday. I'm 5'2", 130 lbs, and have a 35lb Eddyline Rio kayak. First, the paddle is just the right weight, lighter than my other paddle, but not too light. The length is about 10cm longer than my other paddle but I didn't notice it when paddling. I paddled on mostly flat water for an hour and 45 mins. I really like the shape and the enjoyed gripping the paddle just where the paddle starts to taper out. I'm going out to paddle with it again today! Initial great purchase! I hope it lasts a good long time. :)

Sweet paddle with some needed scheming.
Its light, rigid, and easy to get the feel of. A really nice paddling experience. The latch that holds the two sides together is cheap and obtrusive. It is also glued poorly. I was able to easily fracture the epoxy that permanently adheres the latch to one half of the paddle. Not a problem to sand off and start over. But you did just pay for it. Room for improvement. But other than the latch its actually a nice product for the price. I'm pretty sure these guys could make a nice budget product with a few improvements.

It broke on the third trip I used it on.
It paddles nicely, it sold at a good price, but it is too fragile. It broke on the third outing. I wrote the company. They never responded to the email. I do not recommend this paddle.
