I bought this book when it came out. My children at the time were 6 yrs (boy), 8 years, and 9 years (girls) old. They loved the story and so did my husband and myself. Great story. Loved the ending. A year later I am picking out books to give to my children's school library and "One Cool Friend" is one of the books on top of my list. An AR test is available... 3.1; Points 0.5. A definite keeper.

Great Book!! very cute. And it is wonderful that they spell the Name Elliot like my son!!

My 6 year old son and I are having so much reading this book. The first time we could just not stop laughing at the end. Since it is hard to find good books for boys, I am glad we got it.

Beautiful illustrations, fun story, and we love using different voices for the 3 main characters.
