Hy-KoST-2 Number & Letter STENCILS, 2 INCH, TAN

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE STENCILS!!!! They are thin enough to work with easily yet thick enough so they don't tear easily and they stay stiff, even after getting saturated with paint from continuous multiple use in the two solid days I used them to make my deterrent hunting signs to try and keep hunters honest out here in the boonies (CCTV cameras will hopefully help this year too!).These stencils come with only one letter or number per card and each card is darn near the same size so they're super easy to line 'em up on your board, tape 'em down and spray paint or color in. Not near as much measuring and prep work as with the first set of stencils I unfortunately bought and wasted money on that were way too bendy plastic and had so many letters and symbols crammed onto one card that cutting them out in easy to use "squares" (like these cardboard ones) was virtually impossible. Plus, these are LESS THAN HALF the price as the crappy blue plastic ones!! They were also very easy to punch out if you're patient and take your time with them. I WILL be buying these again as needed. Love 'em!

Nice item. It says it's reusable but it is cardboard and I'm scared to get it wet. But they said you can wash it. But I think as soon as it get wet it will soak into the cardboard like any other things cardboard would tear. Cause when I paint the wall and let it dry parts of the cardboard stencils would stick to the wall/paint. Then I have to scrap it off. But otherwise it works great I use it on my wall more then one time. It very delicate when seperating the stencils so do go so fast when seperating the stencils or it will tear before you use it.

They would be better if they weren't cardstock material. They are great for tracing letters and numbers but if you want to paint you need to something with more durability.

These were perfect. Made from tough paper I used some of them 5 or 6 times (created 8 t-shirts with wording on them). There are all letters of the alphabet included, doubles of some of the more popular ones, numbers 1-9 and also a few punctuation signs. The only one missing was the hashtag!One piece of advice, hold them down firmly and don't overload the paintbrush, if there is too much paint on it it sometimes seeps under the stencil and botches it up a little. I did a test run and figured out the best technique beforehand, and was very happy with the result.

Although it's made from thick card stock it has lasted multiple uses. Best bang for your buck. I ordered the 2" letters and have used it multiple times. As long as ou allow the paint to completely dry before storing these will last you several uses.

These are great lightweight letters. I used them to stencil in the name of our first dance song and wedding date on 16-inch pillows. They were the perfect size to write "The Luckiest" across the pillow. I overlapped them so that the edge of the cardboard rectangle butts up against the letter cut-out itself. This works well for all of the letters but the "I."Cardboard letters are more delicate to use than plastic letters, but they also bend with fabric more, which makes a cleaner line to trace, I think. Plus, I didn't feel bad coloring over the edges with a permanent marker.

These are thin, flimsy cardboard. Also, the buyer has to punch out all the letters and all the numbers.
