Another fine tribute to the big man
So here we are again - another bumper, stuffed package of Warrior goodness tinged with emotion following the big mans sad passing. For your money (on the Blu Ray edition) you get a 90+ minute documentary, 26 matches, a few extra stories that didn't make the cut for the main piece and literally hours of Warrior promos and interviews. The doc itself is a cracker - it's structured around a behind the scenes look at the Wrestlemania 30 weekend as a camera crew follows Warrior through the big show, the Hall of Fame ceremony and the post WM Raw. There's plenty of interesting input from Warrior, his wife and children, the Mcmahons and a long list of WWE "superstars" past and present. Alongside this we get a whistle stop tour of Warriors career, taking in the key moments both good and bad. It doesn't cover everything of course but what is here is good stuff. As much as I love the guy and his bizarre blend of goofy yet intense promos, I wondered if 3 solid hours of them may be a challenge but in truth there's much fun to be had here. 46 promos and interviews spanning his full career, concluding with the Hall of Fame speech and the now rather poignant final Raw appearance. Perhaps it's still best to dip in and out rather than attempting a marathon session. Most of Warriors best and most notable matches were on his previous Ultimate Collection release (another 5 star effort) so here we get a mixed bag of largely unreleased stuff. I've listed the matches below with a few comments for those that are interested - I've left out 5 of them as they're super short squash matches which are fun in their own way but there's not much more to say about them....25/07/86 - Dingo Warrior v Perry Jackson + Chico Cabello - Our boy lays out a quick, stiff beating on a couple of jobbers.02/06/87 - Dingo Warrior v Big Bear Collie - A little more competitive, standard TV stuff of the era.24/11/87 - Warrior v Frenchy Martin - Not sure I've seen Frenchy actually wrestle before and he doesn't get much of a chance here as he gets typically brutalised.10/10/88 - Warrior v Honky Tonk Man - IC Title - Fun while it lasts but doesn't last very long.08/05/89 - Warrior v Rick Rude - IC Title - These two knocked up some belters together, this isn't the very best of them but is still cracking stuff until the customary cop out finish.06/06/89 - Warrior + King Duggan v Rick Rude + Andre the Giant - Another dose of Rude here which is awesome. The frizzy haired fella is on great form again and this ones a blast.29/10/89 - Warrior v Andre the Giant - IC Title - This was never gonna be a mat classic and in truth it turns into something of a train wreck. Has curiosity value though.28/04/90 - Warrior v Haku - WWF Title - Pretty short but lively, fast paced scrap.27/04/91 - Warrior v Sgt. Slaughter - Pretty standard match but it's really all about the angle at the end which is fun stuff.28/04/91 - Warrior v Rick The Model Martel - Well put together little match enhanced by some typically excellent commentary from Bobby Heenan.18/05/91 - Warrior v Smash - Pretty similar to the last match but without the pace and verve that Martel brought to proceedings.02/05/92 - Warrior v Skinner - So we jump forward a year and the big fella is now a slightly smaller fella. This is a squash match really, the only offence poor Skinner manages is a bit of spitting.19/05/92 - Warrior v Papa Shango - I may be in the minority but I loved this bonkers feud back in the day. Not a stellar match but it put a smile on this guy's face.19/08/92 - Warrior + Randy Savage v The Nasty Boys - This is all about the build up to the epic Warrior/Savage match at Summerslam 92. Enjoyable stuff.20/04/96 - Warrior v Isaac Yankem - Ultimate Warrior meets Kane here. Dream match anyone? It's doesn't last long enough sadly.08/07/96 - Warrior v Owen Hart - Always good to watch the late, great, Slammy Award winning King of Harts. The match is mainly used to set up a PPV main event which sadly didn't actually happen (not with Warrior anyway). The following are Blu Ray exclusive........22/08/86 - Dingo Warrior v Rick Rude - A slower effort than the fast paced belters they would later have together - an interesting early encounter though.01/04/90 - Warrior v Hulk Hogan - WWF Title - Arena Hard Camera Version - They did this before with the Hogan/Andre match from Wrestlemania 3 on The True Story of Wrestlemania release and I kind of like it as an added extra. It gives an interesting, different view of a match I've seen a hundred times already.13/10/90 - Warrior + Legion of Doom v Demolition - Wish this one could have been a little longer but it's more of a primer for an impending Survivor Series match. Enjoyable while it lasts.19/02/91 - Warrior v Earthquake - Pretty standard stuff here, decent enough.03/06/92 - Warrior + Undertaker v Papa Shango + Berzerker - Formulaic tag match really but the interesting combo and dynamic makes it worth a look. And that's your lot. Blu is the way to go if you've got the option as its a good 100 minutes extra for your money. Enjoy.

Good bye Warrior and thank you
This is a fitting tribute and good bye to the Ultimate Warrior. As soon as I hear the music playing suddenly I am a fan again. This is a very emotionally charged DVD. It was very strange for me to see the Warrior walking around meeting the other wrestlers walking around the arena, knowing now that those would be his last hours. It was great to hear from the Warrior's family. The documentary is a summary of his career, and cutting to interviews recorded from the man himself, as well as WWE wrestlers management, and Warrior's family. As a fan I am happy the Ultimate Warrior was inducted into the WWE hall of fame. However as a person I am over the moon that before his untimely death all the grudges and hatchets were buried. The Ultimate Warrior was always known how speaking his mind Vince says it best "honest almost to a fault". He was always know for doing things his own way, and damn whatever everyone else thinks of him. Many times this has got him into trouble, but more often then not always got results. It got him noticed, and got him respects from his fans and enemies alike. I know this is a tribute so all the interviews are on their best behavior. Many of the argument and disputes are put down the business. For me once again it is great that peace was made between him and the WWE and the other wrestlers. This is a must have for all Warrior fans, from his begin in the business, raising to the top, starting a family, from getting disrespected using the self destruction DVD, to giving his due in the hall of fame, his interviews to his final speechs in what became his final hours of of life. All this and great to see the Ultimate Warrior in wrestling action, from his squash matches, to his biggest victories. Good bye Warrior and thank you.

Ultimate Warrior amazing Life!
ALWAYS BELIEVE: It was great to share the emotions of a legends career to the unfortunate last days. It sounds a bit Corney but I believe there is a little ultimate warrior character in all warrior fans. Great DVD and so pleased to see he finally got respect from other greats such as Hogan. Even if Hogan did not express it till warriors last days. Buy this DVD and celebrate the life and career of the Ultimate Warrior.

The ultimate challenge
The main event at Wreslemania 6 Hulk Hogan V The Ultimate Warrior alone is worth the money on this blu ray exclusive. The match is set by the in arena camera , it's awesome as you never seen it like this before and you get to see some parts like the the Warrior gorilla press in full view! It's also no commentary I was sitting there talking like Jesse the body and Gorilla monsoon at the entrances! Just buy Warrior fans!

I wasn’t happy with her. He looked like a dog has been at it. I thought it was coming straight from Amazon not from somebody outside because they butt teeth mask. The discs were dirty so yeah.

You WILL believe!
This is the second blu ray release of the Ultimate Warrior. I have to say, I had goosebumps and a lump in my throat watching this. This is an amazing set up by the WWE and they would have made Warrior proud of this documentary put together. All of the Warrior's matches are on here and the interviews from other WWE stars past and present give their honest and real opinion of their thoughts on one of the most iconic superstars to ever grace the WWE industry!I strongly recommend this blu ray to any Warrior or WWE fan as it'll enlighten you from beginning to end.
