Handy and portable little product that does its job well. Opens envelopes effortlessly. Manages two at a time with relative ease. Small enough and portable that you can hold it and lower it onto an envelope or has little feet so you can leave it on a surface and lower the envelope onto it.My only complaint would be that it could do with more grip - possibly a complete rubber coating on the bottom or similar so it doesn’t move around.I added some adhesive magnetic material to the bottom of mine and mounted it vertically to a filing cabinet directly above a paper bin. Used most days and never grumbles. Batteries last forever too. Would recommend.

This letter opener is the best - soon there will be no more unopened envelopes piling up around here! You just put the corner of the envelope in the safety channel and whoosh! The blades slice it open in seconds. You don't have to move the machine, just hold it in your hand, hold the envelope in the other and the blades will do the rest. You will be left with a very neat open envelope and a thin strip of paper. Item requires 4 x AA batteries.

My letter opener arrived in good time, so that was good. It takes four AA batteries, when you split uhe bottom part from the top. Three fit into their ports, the fourth fits, but you have to squeeze on the top half t)o make a contact. But it works. Until it didn't. I checked the batteries, and the connections, but it had died on me. Maybe lasted, with infrequent use, a few weeks. Not long at all. I threw it into my recycle bin.

Very useful little device, just remember to put batteries in otherwise you might, like me, wonder why it's not working!

this makes it so easy to open letters, neatly - therefore easy to shred envelope as they aren't already in multiple pieces - very pleased

Cool gadget, I have contracted tendons in my hands, which makes holding very difficult, this cutter just does its job in a zip.
