They seem a little quieter to me. I had a pair of Andis professional clippers before and these are superior in every way. My cat abhors being groomed but she’s surprisingly okay with these clippers! They are THE ONLY clippers I will ever use again ever. They’re quiet and they don’t get hot. I’d hope they’d be okay for a sensitive pup.
