Remember Hello Kitty gum?
This gum takes me right back to my childhood, the special trips to the Hello Kitty Sanrio store. This gum is it!

Great flavor and variety
I used to buy this gum as a child, but only had the original flavor. Being able to get so many different flavors is amazing. The gum is soft and flavorful, but unfortunately the flavor doesn't last very long. But one positive is that at least the gum remains soft so you're not chewing on a rock after 5 minutes. There are fun games inside the wrappers too which entertains my kids.

Taste and texture
Great variety of flavors not typical of American chewing gum. And cute wrappers. The texture is soft so you can blow gigantic bubbles with it!!

Produces great bubbles, with interesting flavors (that don't last long)
I'm going to be very honest right from the start: half the time I was enjoying this bubble gum, I REALLY couldn't tell what the flavor was supposed to be. It still tasted good but honestly with such a variety and myself not being able to read Japanese, each little piece ranged from an obvious flavor to a far more ambiguous one:Flavors:-Grape (clearly marked on the wrapper)- Apple- Orange (I think it was orange)- Strawberry (which really had more of a generic "fruit" flavor)- Soda (I wasn't always sure when it was cola or not)- Yogurt (big shrug)- Others I couldn't easily verify based on flavor aloneEven when I couldn't identify the flavor, they never tasted bad. They just have a pleasant, light sweet flavor and you kind of shrug and just enjoy the experience.***How many pieces do you need for a good bubble?***For a really nice-sized bubble, I found you needed about 3-4 pieces of gum. And that actually works pretty well as a way to enjoy this set to ensure you don't just burn through it too quickly. The flavor on a piece lasts about 2-3 minutes, so you can start with a piece, chew for 2-3 minutes as the flavor dissipates, and then add another, until you've got the 3-4 pieces in your mouth and then enjoy some nice nose-covering (when popped) bubbles.***Gum Lottery***Kind of like with Bazooka gum, that old timey American bubblegum that included a little mini-comic inside, this set features puzzles as well as a "Miss" or "Hit" bubble gum lottery. The white slips with red writing are the misses, while the red slips are "Hits". We had one hit in our set, but it had gotten melted/stuck to a piece and tore to pieces as we tried to separate it. We're not sure what we were supposed to do with it, but by the time we got the piece of gum and the "Hit" message out it was shredded, so we just shrugged, and went on chewing.***Overall Value***Despite not always knowing the flavor we were enjoying, the gum is quite good. It has a soft texture, good sweetness, and it produces good bubbles. The price is understandably a little bit higher due to the novelty of being a Japanese import. It's not a great value, but if you're a big fan of Japanese pop culture and bubblegum, it's kind of a perfect marriage of the two.

Not fresh
Some of the gums tasted really bad. I can’t even check the expiration date since everything is in Japanese. Had to use translate app camera to check but still no luck. Not buying again.
