Folex FSR128 1 Gallon Instant Carpet Spot Remover

Fantastic buy. The best thing I've ever used to clean my carpets and an effective stain remover, too. It was a lifesaver when my daughters were potty training!

I have never had a stain removal product that works as well as Folex. Three true stories: 1. I knocked over a glass of red wine. It splashed the wall on the way down and soaked the carpet. I sprayed Folex on the carpet first - the red color of the wine literally disappeared! The Folex stripped the red out! I sprayed it on the wall - same thing! 2. We'd just finished having our carpets cleaned by Stanley Steemer; the carpets were still wet. My daughter came over; she had a red soda which she spilled on the freshly cleaned carpet. She thought I was going to kill her... I went and got the Folex, sprayed the spot, and the red disappeared just like the wine had. 3. My hubby the artist spilled purple acrylic paint on our carpet. I'm not going to say that the Folex got it all out, but I will say the stain went from purple to pink. After six or seven treatments, the stain was light pink and we had a professional come to get the rest of the stain out. He was even impressed with the Folex. I don't know what is in Folex, but it's a miracle stain remover. It even gets out coffee, although those stains need more than one treatment. I use it on tough stains on clothes. As far as scent goes, there is none. It's unscented and does have the slightest chemical smell, but I have asthma and I don't react to it at all. Folex is the best stain remover I have ever used. My daughter just moved and got new carpets - her infant daughter knocked pineapple juice over - I'm getting my daughter some Folex today. P.S. - I'd send pictures, but the stains are gone, so...

I use this to clean my cats litter box area. Sometimes she misses, weather accidentally or intentionally, that’s not the point of this review. I dab up the puddles from my white carpet with paper towels then generously soak the area with Folex. Within a minute or two I soak up the folex/pee stain making sure to get every last bit of moisture. (I don’t want any particles of yellow matter left for this next step). I use paper towels to soak up till it’s dry to the touch, or if I’m lazy I use my portable carpet cleaner to vacuum till dry. I spray more folex and soak the area to make sure I don’t miss any drops or leave behind a pee ring stain. I let it soak for about 5 minutes, then I go in with a brush or paper towel and very lightly brush the top layer of the carpet just to make sure the folex saturated every single fiber. Then using clean paper towels I dab up the majority of the solution, leaving some behind so the carpet is damp. I usually let it air dry from here and the carpet is white as new. You can pretty much spray and dab till the stain disappears, with this stuff it doesn’t take much at all. Sometimes I spray and come back to dab it up and can’t find the stain to dab. Less work for me I guess. This is how I get piss out of my cocaine white carpet. Dab.

This product in a spray bottle was over priced by almost $4 on Amazon. The gallon size is an exceptional value even if you buy a more expensive spray bottle to go with it. I used it for a cat who is an empath. His owner has cancer, so if she is sick or has stomach problems, he does to; not to mention, she is often so weak she spills everything. For the cat, I swab up mess with one paper towel then spray. For her, I blot spill a few times with towel and spray. Folex is an enzyme that magically gobbles up messy spill;, only occasionally do I need to wipe spot after it dries, and then it is just quick rub with water. This is what my apartment manager wants us to use too! (Note this is a Senior building, with seniors who have age related and medical issues. This product handles it all with just a spray. Heavy blood may require more than one treatment; that is not product, it is more what type of carpet fibers) I use for smelly garbage disposable, inside wash machine, inside garbage can for smell I can't see, laundry and the toilet seat hinges when the boys come home. My white leather sofa maintains perfectly white stitching with Folex. Also, this did not irrate my skin or bother my asmtha.
