I always do my own kind of research before buying anything on Amazon, or from anywhere else for that matter. After checking out the other creatine products available, I came to the conclusion that Bulk Powders offered the best quality for my money. Creatine has been around for over twenty years now and, as a 'mature' gym rat, I have used it periodically since those early days and can attest to its effectiveness in improving performance, strength and aiding any muscle-building desires you may have. There are a couple of ways to take it - the first is by going down the 'creatine loading phase' as follows:* Take 20-25g (or 0.3g for each Kg of body weight) for 5-7 days (Loading) * Then take 5g daily for 3-4 weeks (Maintenance) * Take a week or two off creatine, and then repeat (Wash-out)Creatine loading will cause faster saturation of muscles with creatine, and can cause greater acute increases in strength and body weight (via water retention). This may also confer a psychological benefit, since you can 'see' yourself getting bigger. However, taking a smaller dose for a longer period of time will eventually reach the same saturation point and give you similar results. Personally, I favour getting the same benefits over a longer period of time by taking 5g per day from day one. I dissolve 5g in a bottle of water and drink it after my workout. I do this for 5 weeks then have a week off before restarting the cycle. DO NOT be tempted to pre-mix this before your workout, so it's ready for you to drink afterwards. As soon as creatine is added to water/juice it starts to deteriorate - so mix fresh and drink straight away. Some users I know have reported that they get upset stomachs when they choose to 'load' - so that's something you may wish to consider.One last point worth mentioning is that not everyone responds to Creatine (20-30%). Some people already have high levels of 'natural' creatine in their system - so they won't benefit so much. Also, other factors like poor training regimes and dietary habits (re: alcohol and caffeine consumption) may adversely influence creatine's effectiveness. Its a case of try it and see...

Firstly, it’s a great supplement, great value. Just don’t buy apple and lime, it’s horribly sweet, artificial, and sickly. I regret switching from flavourless which was also cheaper…Why use a health product and choose the option with artificial sweeteners and added chemicals? If only I thought that before buying.
