I had plans to travel not long after I saw this bag strap on Shark Tank. I normally set my purse on my rolling luggage, placing the purse handles over the luggage pull handle. Sometimes it works...and, sometimes I hit a bump or jerk my luggage and my purse slides off the side, pulling my luggage (and me) off balance and causing me to have to stop and reposition everything. I ordered this Cincha in time for my trip. It works as well and as easily as advertised! The strap is like a belt with a double loop in the back. Slide that double loop over your luggage handle. Set your bag on the luggage. Bring each end of the strap around your bag and connect the metal ends. It is like a seat belt for your bag. The strap is adjustable. My bag did not slip AT ALL while using the Cincha. I got the green. It's a really good green, and I love the way the black and green complement each other. I am glad I saw the Shark Tank episode and that I ordered the strap in time for my trip so I could try it! I highly recommend this. It seems well made and is very useful. It helped take a bit of stress away from my travels and looks chic, too.

This belt is so useful! I like carrying a backpack along with using a carry-on suitcase and sometimes I take off my backpack and put it on top of my carry-on. This belt keeps my backpack from falling off and also secures it from theft! The buckle is a bit heavy in weight, but that is also a feature of it being made well. I carry it on every trip in case there is something I want to use it for! It also works for shopping bags, etc.

So I saw this in an instagram ad so so many times. It seemed really gimmicky and like a bandaid for the problem of your bag always falling off your suitcase. I was seriously so shocked how well this works. I have flown several times with it now using my LL Bean Boat and Tote on top of an aluminum away suitcase (aka metal so the bag used to always slip off due to it being a low residence surface). Not once have I had an issue in my bag falling now. It is also great for going thru security or just taking your bag off whenever. You can either unclip it (and the clip is SUPER high quality and heavy duty) or slide the back strap off so the strap stays around your tote/hand bag. Now the tote I use this with is canvas - and while it seem like a pretty gentle strap to hold your bag, I am not sure how it would hold up on something like calf skin or some other soft leathers.

This was very helpful during our recent vacation. The back side is "sticky" which holds your bag in place. So glad I bought this.

I love this thing. And when I say love...I mean LOVE! I have given this as a gift to 8 people now! This thing is awesome. I like to travel with a large purse/tote and a roller carry-on and 99% of the time that purse does not have that extra sleeve thing that goes over the carry-on handle to keep the purse upright on the top part of the luggage. This means that as you are rolling along, your purse/tote is sliding off or slipping to the side and eventually I used to just give up and put it over my shoulder. AND, if you are anything like me, you have a laptop in there and a bottle of water and your make-up and maybe some magazines and that purse is HEAVY. This is where the Cincha comes in! This genius strap thingy, slides over the carry-on handle and then the strap hugs your bag and clips in front to keep it from sliding off the top of your luggage. It is adjustable to fit any size purse or tote and it is super easy to adjust and use. And, once you get on the plane, just unclip it and slide it off the handle then fold it up and put it in your tote/purse. Then proceed as normal and put your purse under the seat and your carry-on in the overhead and you are good to go! Cincha made this thing to last so the buckle is heavy and really good quality. I understand why they did this so it lasts but I wouldn't have minded if it was maybe a little lighter? And yes, there are similar items out there but, as they say...you get what you pay for! My recommendation is don't buy the knock off! (And, no, I don't work for Cincha! LOL) If I ever lose this thing (or if someone gets envious and steals it...LOL) I would definitely buy from Cincha again because of the quality.

I was originally looking at a bungee type of strap to secure my large Longchamp Pliage City bag when I saw the Cincha as a product I might also like. Based on the reviews I decided to give it a go— believing there was no way I was going to keep this because of the price. WRONG. I purchased another strap on Amazon a couple of years ago, but it pales in comparison. The Cincha feels like quality and although I haven’t used it yet, I can tell it will not stretch over time. It’s worth the price. I purchased the all black and it looks great around my black Pliage City bag. Because the Chincha is so well made and substantial, it holds my bag in place. The city bag is somewhat slick because of the coating, but the Chincha has passed the “round the house test” and kept the bag in place. I will say that I plan to remove Cincha and place in my PCB and store under my seat when it’s time to separate the bags because I do not want to lose it! UPDATE: Everything I said in my original review stands. I’ve used now on several trips and it looks and functions wonderfully. Because the strap (color Jet) is such great quality iT REALLY pairs well with my PCB. I was asked about it in an airport by another customer, and a Longchamp employee working in an airport location also inquired. She also had the large PCB and wanted a way to keep it ion her luggage. Getting the thumbs up from her let me know that the look and quality of the bag was not diminished. Important thing to know: THE STRAP HAS NOT STRETCH OUT!

This is really been a great item for me. It totally changed my airport experience with my bag falling off the top of my rolling suitcase. May going through customs, a breeze and staying organized about 10 times easier. The only thing that I would say about this is that because I use a black backpack and a deep purse in addition to my suitcase, I would not suggest getting the black in this item as it was very difficult to find they do have many other different colors that are available that will be easy to find in your bag when you need to use it for those who are happy to just have black and who can’t remember exactly where they put it in their bag. The black is very nice, just not right for me. I bought it because I tend to like plain Traveling items such as a dark gray suitcase and a black backpack. If I had to do it again, I’d probably get some form of a stripe so that I could see it in my carry-on that said this is a top-notch item and a very high-quality. Don’t buy the knock offs. I tried those first they had plastic latches , this brand has metal and is a very high quality all the way around. Seems like a lot of money at the time but once I got it, I realized it was really worth the money. I had to get a gift this item 5 stars without hesitation.

The metal buckle is super heavy. I found it works best when you keep it wrapped around the bag you’re securing to the suitcase handle. The belt stays with the bag when you take it off and put on. You’re basically adding a sleeve to the smaller item. But that buckle adds some weight to your smaller bag. (I’m fussy about bags that are heavy on their own. Before you start packing). Larger size is way too large for average size backpack. Love the colors. Blue/white/black looks classy. I had high hopes. Ended up in a drawer after a couple of uses.
