Kung fu fighting!
Alright, others have said this is cheap and will break on you. When it arrived, a piee of the plastic was already broken, but I installed this on my BoB, which it is not meant for, and the broken element was irrelevant. I have worked this dummy over daily for a couple months now. I have not found it to be in danger of breaking on me yet. This attached to bob, has become an excellent work out for me. If this does end up Breaking, I am going to buy another one, because it is the best deal for wing chun workouts. Perhaps many things influence ones experience with it, but for me, my experience has been perfect with it.

Overpriced for a couple piece of plastics and straps.
For a $140 price tag, I expected more from this. Rather, the backing is quite flimsy and the straps are really long, even when wrapped on a standard heavy bag. You can't go hard on it as it will loosen the two sheets of plastic. Maybe it's me, but it also feels a bit small. It's good concept and alternative if you live in an apartment or have limited space. But overall, this product is really worth about $50 and is more than likely geared on working on techniques rather than speed or power.

I should have purchased good free standing bag as long as it does not ...
Have only used once because of pain in middle back. I have it attached to a hanging heavy bag which moves. I had to order an anchor which by the way was purchased from you. I am 67 and not but 5'8". Putting it on bag and then lifting heavy bag to hang in inside doorway and then lifting 45 lb water filled bag and then practicing on it caused pain in upper middle back. I have to take it down and put back up both the anchor and bag because of having roommate. I think I made a mistake purchasing heavy bag. I should have purchased good free standing bag as long as it does not scoot across floor. I thought I was in better shape since I do work out. Any suggestions of what free standing bag would be better for attachmate?

Not suitable for free-hanging heavy bags
If you have a free-hanging bag, my opinion is that this device does not work well. Your bag will turn and there is no resistance. This is better suited to a fixed-base heavy bag or a stationary target of some kind. I am thinking of creating a semi-circle type padded surface on the inside of my garage wall to which I will affix this trainer. I think that will work better. I do like the arms and their spacing and am looking forward to making this work for me.I like it's potential as an alternative to an expensive wooden dummy. You just need to attach it to a bag of some sort that won't move much.

and the other feels like softer plastic
I wanted to practice techniques with a training partner, and this works well for that purpose. There are essentially two sheets, one is pliable hard plastic (has 3 holes for the arms), and the other feels like softer plastic. Place the Velcro straps through the slots, the arms through the holes, put the backing on to stack it, and then cinch the straps. Since I chose to put the trainer into my 80lb bag in lieu of following the directions, I basically kept pulling on the straps to cinch it tighter each time. I did this about 4 times over a 24 hour period.Using the trainer is fun. You can practice arm traps, block and counter strikes, and other drills. Punching the plastic backing is stiffer than punching the bag, and the straps can tend to scratch you punching barefisted but I'm pleased with my purchase. It's an ingenious way to give your heavy bag a dual purpose.

so it's a big time suck and pain to take it on and off
It tries, but it fails. The plastic is just not strong enough to take any abuse, and it broke on me after a few months. Furthermore, a hanging heavy back will spin, which means that the majority of correct wooden man strikes are impossible. Any one strike will send the bag spinning so you can't follow up. It's difficult to really tighten down into the heavy back, too, so it's a big time suck and pain to take it on and off. Presuming you just leave it on, and you want to just hit the heavy bag (on the opposite side of the bag), then there's a good chance a hook is going to catch the edge of the plastic backing boards. Lots of cursing, bruising, and slow-healing knuckles. The Bitterness of Poor Quality remains long after the Sweetness of Low Price is Forgotten. If you're into one of the disciplines then just get an actual wooden man. Otherwise go to a WC or JKD class and then buy an actual wooden man.Do yourself a favor and get a real muk yan jong, or even a quality 3-arm chi sao board, if you can. You can find 3-arm spring-arm chi sao dummies out there for about twice as much as this, and it will last you for years and years instead of weeks and weeks.

Don't waist your money
Cheap and cracked the first use. Also the Velcro was reversed and had to twist the straps to secure.
