Maypole Adjustable Bird Table with Easy Clean Removable Base (Original)

This bird table is excellent value for money. Well designed, comes flat-packed and is fairly easy to assemble - give yourself a couple of hours. I used wood glue (Gorilla) in addition to the screws provided and it has made a strong sturdy item. Looks good. I am going to use Bird Table Metal Stabiliser Pegs (available on Amazon) to lock it to the ground so that it wont blow over in the winter gales. Quality of wood could be a bit better but for £34 I really can't complain. Comes well packed. I have set the roof height to "medium" to keep out larger birds like pigeons, rooks and seagulls. Made in the UK. What's not to like.

Great Bird Table – The Locals Love It! Really pleased with this bird table. It was surprisingly easy to put together – everything slotted into place without a fight, and I didn’t need to Google any “how to” videos. The quality is solid – feels sturdy and well-made, not like one of those wobbly ones that looks like it might collapse if a pigeon so much as looks at it. The birds took to it straight away, and now I feel like I’m hosting a garden brunch club. All in all, great value and a lovely addition to the garden.

I purchased this birdhouse about a month ago and my local bird population loves it. We live in an area where smaller songbirds are not as present, but we do get some bigger birds. So far the house has attracted the attention of sparrows, wagtails, magpies and pigeons. It is sturdy enough even for a few bigger birds to use it at the same time. It stands well and level on its own but we weight the base down with some rocks for extra stability. It was delivered in pieces with a manual and assembly was reasonably straight forward. It is a basic house so craftsmanship wasn't excellent, some of the pieces weren't as accurately cut as I would have liked them to be. Not everything is 100% straight. Once in the garden and in use, I don't think it matters all that much as long as it doesn't create any sharp edges that could turn out harmful for the birds. I have since washed the thing down with the garden hose a couple of times which works well. So far it is going strong. Over time, I expect the wood to show some discolouration but that wouldn't bother me much. Overall a good yet basic product.

Just assembled the bird table today. Very easy, no problems assembling the table, stable and sturdy. Good weight to keep from falling over.

Excellent quality and so much cheaper than many lesser quality tables. Easy to put together, just a screwdriver needed, every piece is treated and looks wonderful in the garden. Made in Britain, fast delivery, highly recommended!

This is an attractive bird table that looks sturdy. Many reviewers say it is easy to put together but I found it extremely difficult. I didn’t use a power screwdriver, which some recommend, so I have hurt my hands, arms and shoulders doing the job, especially as positioning the components properly was very tricky. There are not enough pre-drilled holes to assist. I haven’t put it outside yet so can’t comment on how good it will be in use. I hope my poor assembly will not be a problem. I would recommend this bird table but urge DIY incompetents me to have someone else lined up to assemble it.

Rather disappointed.I was expecting it to be more solid as it was described "heavy duty".Quite small really.The bigger birds had a job getting into it as the house part wasn't very high. On the other hand,it looks quite smart and is ideal for smaller birds.Easy to build.Good for the price though.Just misleading when they state heavy duty.My last feeder was very heavy and well made,but was still blown over with the high winds we get.Don't know yet how this will stand up to it.Easy to assemble.Would recommend for a smaller garden and smaller birds.

difficile de trouver mieux pour ce prix ! en tout cas c'est du solide... Le bois est bien lourd . Il est traité. Le seul bémol concerne l'absence de mode d'emploi en français ...c'est dommage mais tellement courant hélas. Bon ! il est tout de même assez facile de réaliser le montage
