This book is not at all what I expected . I thought it would be a children's book which my son could read to identify stars, planets etc when looking through his telescope.Instead it is a weird guide to what you should consider before buying a telescope - what aperture you need etcWaste of money and I will be sending it back

Did not contain any information about stars only how a telescope works. Not what I wanted so have had to arrange a return and purchased a book about sun, moon and stars which is more along the lines of what I wanted.

Useless
Utterly useless. I wish I had paid more attention to the other reviews which would have warned me. Despite the cover, title and description suggesting this book will help your child find objects in the night sky through their telescope, it does nothing of the sort.Instead it attempts to assist you as a parent select a telescope for your child. And even in that regard it is not much good. Have found a multitude of online sources offering far better information.--- update ---Amazon have accepted my complaint without question and given me a full refund. Kudos to amazon for their customer service as always.

not what we expected, the front cover illustrations give the impression of a book for kids to discover whats out there using a telescope, but its not.Obviously our fault for nor reading the text carefully enough.Just think its a bit ambiguous
