BeechfieldUnisex Mountain Waterproof & Breathable Baseball Cap (One Size) (Navy)

Bought this for 5-day hiking trip in Wales. It really does the job very well. I could never buy cap or a hat that would od both, cover my ears from wind and protect it from the sun. This hat does both - is waterproof, it's easy to adjust, is warm - all you need for hiking in the rain. The word of caution is that you cannot flip those ear caps so it looks like a regular cap, but I'm fine with that - it's a matter of functionality over fashion.

Really good buy. Easy adjusted to fit. Comfortable and doesn't make the head sweat like most caps. Rain proof also and keeps the ears warm.

I quite like this hat, but, I would like it more if it adjusted a bit smaller, I have a small head & its adjusted up as tight as I can get it. Adjustment is by elastic & toggle, I didn't realise that it didn't have a Velcro strap as well.Good points are, it's nice & warm with a fleece lining & with the ear flaps down, i9t also covers the back of your neck.Hats to fit small heads are very hard to come by!!!

I bought this hat for running in the rain. I just needed a relatively lightweight, waterproof and warm hat. This does the job. I took a risk on size and it is a bit big for me (I am female) but I'm going to stitch some extra elastic in the back for a snug fit.The peak keeps the rain out of your eyes and the ear flaps do their job well.I agree with the other reviews on looks, it is not a sexy look, people may point and laugh but you can be smug in the knowledge that you are warm and dry, what more could you want?It's a practical hat that does what it says.Would I recommend it? Definitely!

the adjustable string on the back was broken whe it came and i could not adjust it.nothappy at all

Snug, i have a small head and it is not too big.nice lining ear flaps fold up ok.

I think that this hat is an absolute bargain. It's warm, comfortable, durable and extremely functional. It isn't the most stylish hat on the planet with the flaps folded out, but when they are folded in it looks close enough to a standard baseball cap to look ... reasonable. The adustment works well and the hat fits my head perfectly (male, 57cm), but also fits the head of every other member of my family too down to size 52cm. I think that it would fit people with considerably larger heads too. I liked it so much, I bought a second.

I never thought my life would be dull that I would be writing a review for a hat, but here we are.I bought one of these as a present and was so impressed with it on arrival I bought my own. Its properly waterproof, warm, has a nice lining and fits well, with flaps over the ears and also goes down far enough at the back to protect your neck from water and snow. I live in Canada, and Ive been putting this hat to test in -20 degrees and 65 kph winds and it has proven itself to be a worthy purchase. Well done, hat - top marks.

Took this cap on a cold, wet backpacking trip. My ears and head stayed warm and dry. I don't think you would want to wear this hat in warmer weather, as it is made for colder weather and would be too hot for warmer temps. The hat is very easy to adjust the size via the shock cord and cord lock at the back; so it fits securely, but is not tight. The fleece lining is very comfortable and the bill is just long enough to keep most of the rain out of the eyes. The cap seems to be well made and well designed. I am planning to get many years of colder weather use out of it.
