Victorinox Diamant Knife Sharpener, Swiss Made, 15cm, Red

I own several multitools and - in comparison - my Victorinox Spririt X lacks only one thing compared to my Leatherman Wave: a diamond file. Now that I have the version with the pocket clip and one hand opening main blade it is pretty much superior in every way. Except... no diamond file for sharpening. However, the problem with a diamond file on the wave, is that the one tool a wave cannot sharpen is itself. Enter the Victorinox separate diamond file. It comes in a leatherette sheath but slides perfectly down the side of the leather sheath that holds the tool. Sure the handle sticks out of the top a bit but it's a small price to pay. My Spirit X now has the diamond file it has always needed and hooray: it can sharpen the tool itself!

This is a great little edc sharpener due to the small size I slip it in my wallet I can then sharpen friends and families knives for them when im out and aboutI'm tempted to hacksaw off some of the handle to make it even more compact. I can get all my knives razor sharp with it due to it being diamond. I would say it is between dmt coarse and fine somewhere in grit at a guess. Cant speak about longevity as it is new perhaps i will remember to come back and review. Probably best used like a file for larger knives.

Kupiłem już ich 5, najlepsza mała ostrzałka, tnie metal bez problemu, każdy kto dostał mega zadowolony.

Ich bin Neuling beim Schärfen von Messern … qualitativ betrachtet. Bisher hat gelegentliches Abziehen mit einem Wetzstahl ausgereicht. Manchmal muss es aber mehr sein und anstelle von einem ganzen Sortiment an Wetzsteinen, habe ich dieses Teil gekauft. Funktioniert auch hervorragend - bis auf den Grat, der beim Schleifen entsteht. Mit dem Wetzstahl ist es etwas mühselig, den Grat zu entfernen, wenn man Laie ist. Ich habe jetzt den Dual-Schärfer von Victorinox dazu gekauft und mit dem V-förmigen Abzieher geht es einfach und zuverlässig. Die beiden kleinen Teile reichen mir übrigens völlig aus, auch für größere als Taschenmesser. Küchenprofis sehen das sicher anders, aber das ist eine andere Zielgruppe.

bon produit, semble très solide, mais image un peu trompeuse, je pensais qu'il serait bien plus épais mais on a juste une simple ' lame' d'affutage très fine , avec un angle, l'étui est tout aussi fin mais a la mérite d'être la . Pas encore testé mais j'ai déjà plusieurs aiguiseurs victorinox pour les canifs et couteaux de cuisine, ca fonctionne . un peu cher du coup pour ce que c'est réellement , la version duo est moins chère et offre plus d'options .
