Love the glove, weird thumb?
Purchased two pairs of these since I knew I would bang them up. However the crook of the thumb (that space between the thumb and index finger) split at the seam pretty quickly. We'll see how the second pair fair.

Great gloves for light work
I unload trucks and put away merchandise for a large retail company and i was tired of my hands (more specifically my fingertips) being really sore after a shift from opening boxes and handling product. The only gloves i could find were fingerless gloves or extremely thick gardening gloves which would have been hard to work with since they make your hands bulky and make it hard to handle merchandise. These gloves provide ample ventilation and fit great for nimble work. I was surprised that they placed extra fabric on the thumbs in order to provide extra protection for when i have to slide in and out my box cutter and i no longer have torn up thumbs. I have had them for several months and they hold up pretty well.

Great fit, strange stitching in right pointer finger
Although I love the sleek fit that these gloves provide, the stitching in the right pointer finger is very uncomfortable and I constantly find myself trying to adjust my finger to get around it.

Nice gloves
These feel good and (to me) are a good trade off between dexterity and protection. Everyone will have their own opinion: buy them, try them and send them back if they aren't your taste. I use them to push cases around and wrap cables, as an audio/visual tech. The Velcro tabs don't my lie flat but curl up around the corners. Small thing but worth mentioning if it might bother you.

the gloves did great for what they were intended for
the gloves did great for what they were intended for. they worked great on set, laying cable, hanging speaker, etc. time eventually caused some tearing, however, thats expected in my line of work with pair like these

Horrible, terrible quality, not professional in any way
I'm a professional gaffer/set technician and thought I'd try a pair of Setwear gloves, even though they are made in China. They literally lasted 4 shoot days before the seams started coming apart. They fit, and are comfortable, but the quality is embarrassingly terrible. After 8 days of use they are unusable. Be aware - DO NOT BUY! Find a decent pair of leather gloves made in America, France, or some other country that can make a decent product. Edit: I emailed Setwear about the gloves just to tell them how bad the quality was and they were super responsive. I had included my phone number, and within minutes one of their people called and apologized, and asked questions about how I was using them, etc. He sent me another pair really quickly and said to let him know how they work out. Supposedly they are working on QC on them and their other, studier, gloves are great quality. We'll see if the new gloves are any better, but I was very impressed with their intent to make their customers happy. Followup edit: The replacement pair fell apart also. Not recommended at all.

Light weight gloves! Exactly what I needed!
I have noticed recently that Setwear has diminished in quality products. But I took a chance knowing that if all the items I've bought in the past are are still kicking.... So far so good with these very light duty gloves. I bought them for mainly pushing road cases around at load-ins and outs. The cases are usually rough, so gloves are required. I would recommed these for Very Light duty.

Not touch screen friendly as claimed
These gloves are comfortable, fit well, and are not too thick. However, these are described as touch screen friendly, which is not true at all. I am very disappointed. Had I known that these were not going to work with a touch screen device I would have looked elsewhere. I have worn several different styles from setwear, and I feel the quality and choice of stylus not what it once was.
