Really beautiful and well made, large and heavy, which is great for me as I can fit loads in and crush away. Excellent product.

Heavy stony motor and pastle
Very useful for grinding small amount.Flavour would be better than grinding in an electric grinder.

Disappointed!
The media could not be loaded. My review of this mortar and pestle, which I purchased in April 2012 from Amazon. It looks great and both the mortar and pestle are nicely weighted and the pestle feels fantastic in the hand. However my experience with this mortar and pestle has been tainted by quality concerns. We love this.
Perfect. Lovely large size allows for vigorous grinding without the fear of the contents going all over worktop. It is angled slightly toward you which helps a lot when grinding something that takes a long time.

Great product
This item is heavy but looks great on my kitchen work top. Very easy to use. Would recommend it as a classy kitchen utensil.
