Tomy Tomica 85308 Repair Garage

I bought this for my 3 year old grandson but when it came I wasn't sure it was suitable as it was a bit on the small side. I glued all the bits together as suggested by other buyers. I thought I had done a grand job of it but the grandson had pulled out the lampposts, trees and signs within 2 hours of playing. Obviously my glue was no good. Do not let that dissuade you from purchasing this. The fact that he could put the removed bits back in where ever he wanted p[rovided him with a lot of fun and he learned about different shaped and sized holes and what went where. Playing with the garage itself was not a problem. He loved it, didn't find it too small and spent hours with it. I am wondering how long the doors will keep opening, thwey have taken quite a going over at the weekend. I consider this money well spent.

Just assembled this having bought it as a Christmas present. The quality seems very good. In addition to the rotating car, there's a switch on the top of the office (middle section) which opens the sliding doors, and switches on the car park (left hand section) which makes the cars shoot forward.Includes quite a few small/slender pieces which I don't think will last long with longer children (maybe keep those in the box until they're older).Doesn't come with enough pavement pieces to go all the way around by the way - just enough for two sides. You can buy an extra pack of these for around £3.Took about 15 mins to assenmble (including putting the stickers on). If giving it as a gift, suggest you do this in advance.

bought this and the car park , they are not very big ,but they compliment lego size models. and at first glance may not look much but they have a few hidden extras.which you dont always get with a toy garage. the car lifts move up and down the pizza doors open the gas refill moves the numbers as you refill your car. the little cars and people make nice addition. as you can add to this its a really reasonable price

A nice addition to the train and city collection. It is simple to assemble and take apart in common with the rest of the range. Bought at sale price, it was extremely good value and delighted the children.

A great compliment to the ever growing and lounge devouring Tomica town/Pla-rail as my son learns about town planning and logistics.....

Has gone down a real smash with young man. Non stop playing since reciving it

Smaller than expected and the road,little trees and lamps etc keeps coming off when my 3 year old plays with it.but apart from that it looks nice and is fun to make it.

Our 8 yrs son is a real car lover. To tell the truth, we bought this garage for a diecast vehicle: Honda NSX-r in the set. We had thought our son might be bit old to play with the garage, however luckily he enjoys the garage as well. This was a nice purchase for us.
