Spawn is ultimately the most violent superhero ever, This animated series follows closley to the comics unlike the movie its dark, violent and deadly fits very well. i was a big fan of the comics when i was young they were great and so is this animated series trust me most of the animes that are violent are japanese but this is american it doesnt have annoying voices, parts were theyre faces go all weird or the stupid bit of sweat on theyre head i really hate that but if ur looking for a great storyline, great characters, swearing, violence killing get this for your collection.

Hi,if you Spawn addicted, you'll like it.These are all the episodes once published on video tape plus some background information.I really like em, and enjoyed watching them again and again.Unfortunately they are not remastered nor reworked. The quality is almost like on video tape.Lucky Spawn got his dark voice and you will find yourself back in your younger days with some nostalgic feeling...but some re-mastering and improving would not have hurt. Therefore only 4 Stars.Best wishesJ.

Oh my god! The perfect adaptation of a comic book, this is dark, brooding and utterly uncompromising. This is probably due to the fact that Todd MacFarlane himself was the driving force behind the project. As stated by MacFarlane the live action film was the teenagers entrance into the world of Spawn while this is most definitely the adults entrance and also a much closer adaption of the comics themselves. Not for the squeamish this is gritty, violent and explicit, but it is still art in the highest degree of both storytelling and traditional animation.

Fantastic series. Shame it only lasted 3 seasons. One of those rare shows that just got better every season.
