PHOIBOS 1000M Diver Men's Watch Analog Quartz with Rubber Strap PX005B

A very accurate and good looking watch, which scores very well on all counts!! Very well finished, it is a genuine Diver's Watch, where even the lume is right up to the mark!! I can happily recommend it to anyone!!

This is a review of both Amazon and also of the watch / PHOIBOS.UPDATE :Returned original watch for below reason. Emailed Phoibos directly to inform them of the issue, Shouldn't have bothered as the reply I received in pigeon English was as follows "Jan 20 this model will sale on amazon uk you can pay attention the website" No apology or anything..... Well because I really liked the watch I ordered another one, it arrived swiftly, Watch looked good although the bezel ratchet was looser and not as positive as the first one. Set the time to GMT & guess what, Within a couple hours I had noticed it was losing time.... Over 18 hours the watch has lost in excess of 3 1/2 minutes even worse than the first one.... Contacted Amazon to return again they were really good and helpful. Question are Phoibos using Amazon to sell their "Seconds" / Returned / Faulty Products or have I just been unlucky twice.....In my experience don't expect any Customer Service from PHOIBOS, Your Choice, Good Luck. I joined Amazon to purchase the watch after reading a lot of the reviews, I am a retired amateur diver, and was in the market for a new timepiece without spending the earth, main priorities for the watch were for it to be both robust and an accurate timekeeper. Placed the order on a Friday, Watch arrived following Tuesday, Postal packaging was really good, but the inner cardboard presentation box had been damaged / ripped and repaired with sellotape at some point. Luckily the presentation box was undamaged. First impressions in my view the watch is very good quality, The machined case is finished in a satin / matt finish the shot blasted finish deburrs any machining marks but leaves the edges clean. The bezzle rotates positively, All the hands line up with the numbers on the dial nicely and the lume is adequate enough. The watch strap was a Rubber divers strap,It has a soft texture to it. The strap itself was to long even on its smallest notch for my small 7 1/2 " wrist though. I set the time and date to GMT, as the watch strap was to large I looked online for a 5 ring Nato strap to source for it, the following day while reviewing the watch again I thought it had lost a few seconds, so reset presuming I had set it incorrectly. Over the following 10 days the watch has now lost in excess of 2 minutes, this is far out of specification for a swiss ronda movement. This is such a shame as I really liked the watch and thought the watch was of good quality, Please don't let this put you off though as there is only one other review that has had a time accuracy issue, the watch itself is lovely, At this present time I am undecided if to reorder, I have placed a letter with the returned watch and await the supplier / manufacturer's response. Amazon was contacted for an exchange / replacement but as they only fulfill the order it has to be returned to the supplier and a exchange was not possible. I was informed the refund payment may take up to 3 weeks.
