Philips Hue White Filament ST64 Smart Light Bulb [E27 Edison Scew] with Bluetooth, for Indoor Decorative Home Lighting, Vintage.

I dislike exposed lamps, but for a porch lantern, this looks the most pleasing and gives a great light. I purposely setup on a warm, dimmed theme and enabled it as a dusk till dawn lamp, it's doing the job great.A bit dearer than standard Hue lamps, but for my needs, a nice alternative to the standard bland lamp anyway.

I fitted this in an outside light and it's worked really well for me.As it's a hue bulb it can be left to its own devices after a schedule has been created and it will come on at sunset and turn off at sunrise. I have set it up to go dim after about 11pm to just give enough light to assist a late entrance but not be glaring out into the street.For a pseudo element appearance bulb, it gives off a remarkable amount of light and is more than enough for an external lighting application whilst also looking really attractive to the eye.Very recommended.

I wasnt sure if this would be ok for outdoor use in my porchlight, i thought i would take the risk and give it a go. So far everything is working fine and conencts to the internet and ALexa so i now have it set you go on and off at sunset/sunrise.I really like the look of this and is a refreshing change from the standard led bulbs, i find to get full effect of the led filament you want to power it between 50% and 75% otherwise its just too bright to see the internal design.It is a little price however theres nothing else i could find with this look and functionality online so for me it was worth it.

I bought this as I needed a bulb for a light that doesn't have a wired connection. It turns out you need a wired connection to use and connect this bulb so what the hell is the point of it?! Complete waste of time.
