They work perfectly outdoor and indoor.
Weather proof ! Snow rain and ice garunteed! I attached them to a power tool milwalkee battery 12v hook up system. I strapped them to particular trees I have. I live in the woods.. off grid.. they light up the woods ! Omg..portable, safe, strong. I got good picts..but only of me wearing them.. with a shoulder strap..testing them out ..lll I looked like a walking light house..it's bright and stable ! I will order again.. 30_12v ratings!!! Yes !

Bright LED lights
I purchased two of these lights in September 2022. Wired them up to 12Vdc. Worked great for 12 months. The power supply for the lights apparently lost power and the LED lights started blinking once per second. I replaced the power supply after one week. When I reconnected them, it looked liked they gave off a little smoke, but it must have been condensation burning off. The original lights still worked. I added one of the two lights to the tower for a total of three. The 10amp power supply now provides enough voltage and current to light all three.Great lights!

Great for a string of yard lights
3rd update I now have 8 or 9 of these running, some for 3 years. No failures. I am driving 5 of these from a MEAN WELL LRS-350-48 supply available on Amazon. No chirping. This seems to be a great combination if you are driving several at once. I live high in the Rockies, so these get lots of cold and snow. See my two complaints below. Otherwise they are great. Purchased 4 times. My goal is to put 4 of these on a wire string over 100+ feet distance to light up a yard. That's 200 watts on a single 100+ foot wire. I also want to use the smallest (cheapest) wire size I can. Ohms law says voltage drop in the wire = current * resistance. Resistance in a small wire say 18 gauge is going to be high over 100 feet. So to minimize voltage drop you need to lower the current. Power = voltage * current. Therefore to lower the current you raise the supply voltage if you can. That's what I love about these lights they will run on voltage up to 60V DC. I measured power draw at different voltage levels to see how well their internal LED driver handles a range of voltage. You can see that at 48V the current is greatly reduced and because the light only needs 12V leaves a ton of room for cable voltage drop. Of course power loss in the cable is wasted energy. Running these at 24V or 48V is a great idea if on a string.Measured Power at the lightInputvoltage Current Power11.5V 2.8A 32W noticeable light loss If you run with a 12V supply with even a little cable loss12V 3.6A 43W13V 3.6A 46.8W24V 1.75A 42W48V 1A 48WAt 12V and above, I could not tell the difference in light output with my eyes. What ever your supply voltage and wire loss, get 12.0 volts or higher to the light and you will get maximum light output. I did not see exactly 50W power draw on any one sample tested and don't care.ConstructionThe mounting bracket they give you is wimpy, I replaced it.My lights will point pretty straight down. The bezel leaves a big gap all around the back of the light. Great place to collect water, testing the gasket for a life time. I will put some caulk to fill that gap.Followup: I tried putting 3 of these on a 240W supply. This should have worked as 3x48 watts is less than 150W giving good margin for the supply. The result was the lights would flash on, then off. This repeated in 2 seconds. If you powered the lights up one at a time, the supply handled it. My belief is this is an inrush issue. At startup the lights draw more power and the supply goes into over current shutdown. Then retires in 2 seconds. I have no scope to prove this. I backed off to 2 lights per 240W supply that I purchased on e-bay. Maybe crappy supply, maybe the light has a high inrush, don't know.Update of update. I have tried 4 different power supplies and see this flashing or what some reviewers call chirping. This issue can get worse in the cold Colorado nights. From my testing you need to buy a power supply that is up to double what your load is. My 24V 3A supply would chirp 4 times in cold weather running two 50W lights before turning on. For 3 lights on a string is am now using a 340W supply. This chirping happens with different brands of LED lights.
