Makes My Keto Do-able
These are what make and keep me full on my switch to a keto life style. I am a diabetic and these konjac noodles are a godsend, believe me. I have never been pasta addicted, but I did love all sorts of Asian noodle dishes; these noodles can be used in similar dishes. The switch from wheat and rice pastas to konjac was easy. No, the the taste is not the same (they are tasteless), nor is the texture what you are used to; neither are they easily flavored. They are simply palatable with no objectionable flavor, easily and quickly prepared, versatile enough to make any noodle based dish one likes. I add them to my bone and chicken broths, to my hot pots, to my stir fry noodle dishes, to bacon and sausage, to carb-free chowders - to any dish that requires fiber and more bulk. Currently I am eating a restricted-calorie FatFast diet for weight loss, and I include these daily to make the diet very painless for me. They have been good for keeping me regular, and they really help with keeping my blood sugar within normal limits. Just can't say enough good things about konjac/shirataki noodles.About this particular brand I can say this: I have used just a few brands, and of all I have sampled, these were both the least costly and the most odor-free (I should add, though, that I don't have a great sense of smell). Texture seems on a par with other shirataki noodles. You may want to cut them into smaller pieces if you have difficulty chewing or swallowing them - it's simple with a few slices of scissors. Don't try these noodles if you are not up to challenges and don't like new things.

Closest to actual noodles I've tasted
One thing I've seen a lot of people complain about is an odor that the konjac root puts off when you open the package. All you have to do is rinse the noodles before preparing. They cook wonderfully. The sauce clings to the noodles which I didn't notice with the other brands. They have a very similar taste and feel to noodles. They aren't going to taste and feel exactly like regular pasta, but these are so great for my keto diet. I missed pasta the most so these are well worth the try.

Finally!
I love some ramen and pasta but the way my type 2 diabetes is set up I can't enjoy it as much. I came across these and got the variety pack to try them all. So far I have made the spaghetti and fettuccine. For the spaghetti I made ramen and I was pleasantly surprised at the taste it absorbed. They were odorless when I opened them and just rinse off of a few times and season. No boiling and ready to eat. These noodles absorbed flavors really well. For the fettucine i made chicken alfredo. The texture is a bit elastic like glass noodles cooked in japchae. I will definitely order more. I hope the rice is just as good.

Not that great
Noodles were ok, very flavorless. But I did notice having to go the bathroom a lot. Have a feeling rice and fettuccine will be so so too.

Healthy
I love these products because they do not come with seasoning. Especially with being directed by the doctor to lower my cholesterol. I can season any way I need to meet my dietary restrictions. I like the variety and the ease of preparation.

No weird smell. Start small. Destroyer of toilets.
I tried a cheaper brand. The smell was so awful I threw them away. These have no smell. I gave them a light wash and made alfredo with them. I enjoyed them. However, do not eat more than one package. I would say, start with half of a single package to see how your gut handles it.I'm a big guy and I ate two packages and that was a terrible mistake. These are 100% fiber. Completely undigestible. They come out the same way they went in. I ate a lot, then had severe pain, nausea, and couldn't eat any solid food for two days. That's not the fault of the food. That's on me for not really understanding what I was getting in to.To sum things up. It's a five star product. No smell. Easy to use. But start slow to see how you handle it.EDIT: I have decided to change my 5 star review to a 1 star review. Why? Not only is it undigestible, it's also unflushable. I've spent the last four hours working on the toilet, and lo and behold? What was the clog? THESE NOODLES.

Wow this is cool
I always think that stuff sounds too good to be true in the low carb world but these hit the spot! I love Asian noodles as is and these remind me of when you get pho soup. They take on whatever flavor you give them , I make it simple with braags amino acids and some chili oil and it’s a nice salty savory treat that is essentially no calories if you factor in the burn of chewing :) what a fun discovery! I’m a new fan

Low Carb But Kinda Weird
The thicker noodles are less tasty and tender than the thinner (spaghetti or angel hair). Also the texture is quite tough. There is a very pungent smell when opening the pack to dump into a strainer but after the rinsing, it's not as evident. I think this is because these are pure Konjac. I much prefer the konjac and soy blended noodles, like Health Noodle brand found at Costco.
