Make sure the knob is set to "PUNCHING" (align the white mark with the punching mark on the side dial).

Why can't I punch small books?

Adjust the paper guide to the markings shown on the right. Recommended sizes: Letter, B5, Junior Legal.

Why can’t I bind thicker books?

The maximum wire size is 1 inch. Do not bind more than 240 sheets (80gsm).

Why are my holes not aligned?

Make sure the paper is fully inserted and the paper guide is locked. Don’t punch too many sheets at once.
