Decent entry level smart watch - Acclamator Smartwatch
The Acclamator RT5 Max is a decent entry level smart watch. It has a case diameter of 48mm but is fairly thin, so it wears well on my 17.5cm wrist. It appears to be well made and the silicone strap is comfortable. The strap has quick-release spring bars which make swapping to another strap style a breeze. The display is bright with 5 levels of brightness and gives several options of how information can be displayed. There are several analog style watch faces as well as digital style. The touch screen and buttons are responsive and easy to use with an intuitive combination with the crown at 3o’clock that can be pushed or rotated. The battery life is around 3-5 days depending on use. The magnetic charging cable connects easily but is one more proprietary cable to keep track of.I was mostly interested in this watch for the heart rate and pedometer features. Both seem to work fine but I have no way to verify the accuracy. Also included are other typical digital watch features: calculator, timer, countdown timer, alarm, etc.I didn’t try the other “smart” features that require downloading an app onto my iPhone. Mostly because they were of no interest to me, but also in part after reading the privacy information. I was not comfortable with giving access to so much personal data to an unknown entity.Overall, this is a good entry level smart watch. I enjoy wearing it to work out to help with tracking fitness data. I have received a few positive comments on the look of the display and the legibility of the larger size. Whether or not the “smart”features are used, it still offers a lot of functionality and style.

Beautiful Bright Display
I got this watch as a replacement for the 2 Samsung Watch Active2 that have stopped working after one year of usage. The watch is itself, very nice looking. It is light weight (lighter than the Samsung Watch Active 2) but it feels strudy and durable. The watch band has a rubbery texture and feels comfortable on my wrist. There are many adjustable openings on the band allowing for many settings for wearing. I had trouble setting this watch up and connecting to the fitness apps for heartbeat, blood pressure and others that use skin to sensor connections. I downloaded the required app from the Google App Store and followed the instructions but have not been able to get the apps to work like they are intended to. I found myself just using the step counting function on this watch as it is nearly accurate and what I use the most daily. The display is very bright and I must say it is probably the brightest display I have seen on sports watches. The watch has a multifunction dial that cycles through different settings and menus but it can become confusing as to what I am supposed to do once I find the app or setting I would like to access. Some apps seem to work without problem and others just don't! This is a good $30 smart watch if expectations are for an entry level device and I think that this device fits that mark well.

Basic Watch, Good Value
This is a basic smartwatch that has some simple features. It is not a high-end option, but it is a good value. For the price, it is hard to complain as you get a reasonable amount of performance in a compact, lightweight package. If you are on the fence about a smart watch or just want a basic unit, this may be the ticket for you to try out.

Great watch, held back from perfection poor "smart features" implementation
For a $30 watch, this is amazing. It's got a large and bright screen, bigger and brighter than some $50-$80 watches. The watch has a functional rotating crown, decent pre-installed app selection, blazing fast bootup, and decent battery life. If you want a basic watch that you can throw a detailed watchface on, and have fitness tracking features, this is great. The fitness features don't use the best sensors and have given spikes in heartrate not found on other watches, but as it averages out, hasn't caused significantly incorrect readings. The other fitness features seem to match those found on more expensive watches and fitness bands, so for those functions, expect it to be fine. The screen is quite bright and easily readable in the day, unlike some other watches I've tried. It's got a higher pixel density than other watches too, giving a clearer, sharper image than even some premium smart watches I've used have. The included wrist strap is large and comfortable, far better than many Chinese watches I've purchased which expect smaller wrists. Design-wise, it looks great, save for the top right where it just generically says "Smart Watch," like you need a reminder that this is a generic Chinese smart watch. As it was intended for the Chinese market, there is a seemingly useless app for anyone else in the AliPay QR code, but the good news is that the watch actually allows you to customize the QR code with PayPal or other apps. So while it doesn't support contactless debit/credit card payments, it does allow you to make payments in stores that have QR-based memberships, such as Starbucks. Not as versatile as premium smartwatches but for $30, it's a feature I haven't found in comparable or even more expensive smartwatches. The biggest issues I found are1) No media controls. This isn't exactly true, but the only way I can control my media on this watch is if I use it as a BT speaker, and the speaker is awkwardly placed so it's terrible for that purpose. Otherwise, I can't see or change my current music using the watch.2) Inconsistent notifications. I haven't seen any of my text messages on this watch, and this could be due to the watch expecting SMS from a different app, but I'm using the Google text messaging app, so there should be no reason it doesn't pull my texts from there when other watches do.3) Notification controls are poor. I can only select a few pre-approved apps to display notifications from, or all my phone notifications. Many types of notifications I do not want on my wrist, for example, email or games. So I can't turn all notifications on, but I can't turn the ones I want on either. As a notification reminder, it's poor.4) The alarm clock only vibrates, and not nearly strong enough to wake me. While I find this to be an issue, I don't rely on a watch to wake me up, so it's a minor issue.5) Speaker placement is poor. If you use the watch to listen to music or make phone calls, the speaker is placed in a position where lifting your wrist blocks 90% of the audio and can't be heard. For example, my driving position blocks the speaker more than half the time, making it a pointless speakerphone in the car.All that said, for $30, this watch is still quite great, if you aren't looking for a wrist buzzer, but rather a customizable watch and fitness tracker, this watch is an amazing value.

Nice display
I thought it was finally time to move into the 21st century and get a smart watch. This one has a nice large and bright display. The app has a good selection of different watch faces to select. The watch is supposed to monitor sleep, but I'm not entirely sure how accurate that is. Same with the other physiologic functions. Unfortunately, I can't wear it when working, so it's hard to say for sure. The automatic display turn on function is rather erratic. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't. The band is rubbery material that catches sweat and dirt underneath. A fabric band would have been a much better choice for this watch. Good if you want a low cost smart watch. 4 stars.
