Vision Plus Status 580 directional TV and DAB/FM radio antenna kit inc VP5 booster & signal finder

I bought this to replace a rather basic aerial that had to be attached to the roof with a sucker.Very simple to install in the wardrobe. I wanted the longer pole as we often are in very poor signal areas and this seems to fit the bill.The only negative I have is the strength needed to raise, lower and rotate the mast but I assume that being new the gaiter seal on the roof fitting is still very tight.I moved my DAB radio receiver to take advantage of the extra outlet on the amplifier and it now receives hundreds of stations, so a plus for me.

This piece of kit is excellent! Fitted onto my horse box - sloping roof, so used the adaptor. The amplifier's light system and the antenna tilt system makes life easy finding the best reception. Well worth the extra money!

Well made and well designed antenna for motorhomes and caravans. The items are well packaged with good instructions, and the staff at vision plus are happy to help via email. The 580 has a longer mast, so you need to make sure the inside of the caravan (locker or cupboard) can accommodate the 800 plus mm of the mast. The amplifier/booster seem to be the same as the other VP series, with more connectors. The signal finder is ok, but you might do better with an iOS or Android app such as Antenna Aligner. The H and V indicators are a blessing. All in all a very well made product, but a little on the pricey side, but you do get what you pay for and the quality in the product is clearly evident.

I've never had a picture out of my caravan aerial so purchased this and I was up and running straight away even on my drive where its difficult to get correct angle

Ordered this as soo n as I realised that it came with built in signal finder.It replaced an older Status 530 and was a straight forward swap. Even left the original roof mount in place which I’d identical to the new one.The aerial gives a excellent reception and is easy to set up in the strongest signal direction.Nice touch was supplier rang me to check if everything was ok....I liked that 👍.

Replaced my old status with this longer new model. I can now get a great signal and loads of channels where I struggled before. It’s also got a a window in the bottom of the tube so you can see what orientation the aerial is in without looking outside or cricking your neck.

Haven’t attached it to the Moho yet, been just putting it out of the skylight when needed. Brilliant picture and reception
