We're using this shower head with a relatively old Gainsborough 10.5 SCL electric shower running off the mains water supply. The water pressure in our area is adequate but not what it used to be, due to Anglian Water reducing the mains pressure to mitigate the leakage loss in their network. We also have a water softener fitted to the house supply which reduces the flow slightly.This head gives a good spray pattern on all 3 settings but don't expect it to rival the pressure generated on a pumped system. Quality seems good but it's only been in use for a month, so it's a little too early to tell.As we have softened water I don't anticipate any issues with limescale fouling the mechanism, although this could be an issue in hard water areas. The relatively corrosive nature of softened water may have some effect on the finish. Time will tell.All in all, great value and does what it's supposed to!

Great shower head and good flow of water

Excellent product. Well made and good value. Does what it says and very well. Others may look very similar but this seems to be one of the best of its type, so far. Definitely significantly increases the pressure of the water exiting the head.

Complete waste of money, worse water pressure than my old shower head. I have low pressure at home, so i buy wide bore hoses and low pressure shower heads. This always works and shower is fine. I bought this shower head as it said its for low pressure systems, but it is not. I even got scissors and widened the bore in it but it still was worse than my old shower head. I dont have time to make pictures, explain to the seller and post this 12 pound crap back and then ask for stamps refund, but I decided to let you people know that if you need a low pressure shower head, this one is not it!

A decent purchase if you require a shower head for low water pressure.3 settings.Jet - works ok but not a forceful flowMix jet/rain - I don’t use this setting but it doesn’t have a forceful flow at allRain - a good forceful flow and suits what we need a shower head to do.Overall it’s a marked improvement on the last showerhead we had. And does it’s job.

I have a gravity fed shower and have suffered for years with a pathetic shower flow. This hand set has dramatyically changed all of that, they say you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear but this comes pretty close. Used in combination with a Croydex shower hose with an 11mm bore it works well and provides a very adequate shower flow.

Superb bit of kit. Super value for money

This shower head did improve the flow. Very easy to fit to existing hose.My only complaint is that it is quite small and does not look as nice as my previous shower head, it would be good if they did these in different styles. I imagine the size is part of the design to improve water flow but the inside could still be small with a larger outer casing.
