The Santa Clause

This is by far my best Christmas movie...I love the sarcastic comments that Tim Allen makes in the film especially with his ex and her partner...!!!I would recommend this film and it is suitable for all ages as adults will appreciate the humour as well as the kids.If this review was helpful to you, please hit the 'helpful' button.

My all time favourite Christmas film. Along with The Snowman and Father Christmas.None of them have aged and are great films for kids today too.

Favourite Christmas film. Love to watch this on Christmas Eve, reminds me of my childhood Christmases watching with my Dad :-) a must for any child and family to watch together at Christmas.

For me, this is a perfect Christmas film. It struggles towards the end and gets overly whimsical and Tim Allen's son is a bit of a spoilt brat, but that aside, the blend of humour and the "explanation" of how Santa does it all is really good. I used to watch this with my kids when they were younger.This time round (watched it last night) there were elements I was thinking "whatever" about, as they were way too overly obviously tugging at the heart strings. However, overall, it still felt much more "Christmassy" than a lot of the other so called classic out there.

This movie is a must see to get you and your family in the mood for Christmas. So it doesn't matter if you're a Bah Humbug or a Ho Ho Ho - this flick will certainly move you into a happy gear and drive you through the festive season.

This is a great Christmas movie.I feel that there aren't as many good traditional Christmas movies as people think, so when new ones are made they often try to venture out a little. (e.g. The Polar Express; the mechanical-ness of the North Pole just didn't work for me.)But I like traditionally festive Christmas movies with work shops, pretty elves and fat Santa Claus.And even though a portion of this movie takes place out of the festive season it is still very very Christmassy! Just the way I like it. And yet it still keeps original story and characters.Tim Allen looks just as Santa should in the end. :)The movie has everything I like and even manages to draw a tear.Definitely watch this movie!!

Well I ordered it on the phone and the purchase went through. But when we went to watch it, it said not accessible in this country or something to that effect. My 4 and 6 year old were very disappointed.

Terrible quality DVD! So disappointed because I love this film and was so excited to be able to watch it this Christmas, but as we’ve sat down to watch it, the picture and sound are breaking up halfway through! Impossible to watch the film fully. And I can’t return it apparently as the item isn’t eligible for returns?? Would really appreciate some advice on this please!
